13.01.2022 Each month we choose one special event to donate wristbands to as part of our sponsorship programme This month, we chose to donate wristbands to Tamworth High School, who are holding a fundraising day to raise money to support Lachy and his family ... Lachy is one of their year 8 students who has been diagnosed with Leukaemia and has been unable to go to school since last year. Lachy’s brother is also at the school where the students have really rallied around the family to support them in anyway possible, visiting Lachy in hospital and also sending video messages! We couldn’t help but feel really touched by this story, this virus is bad enough on its own, let alone when you’re unwell or have a loved one who is unwell in hospital, it’s impossible to imagine. We’re sending Lachy and his family lots of love and healing thoughts and hope the fundraiser is a huge success!
