25.01.2022 Wyvern Dr Ben McKenzie (1994), who oversees the Intensive Care unit at Bendigo Hospital, kept a video diary for the ABC's Four Corners about his frontline experience during the COVID-19 pandemic. Thankyou, Ben, for all that you have done and will continue to do.
23.01.2022 Arch Wyvern Dr Katti Williams (1994), whose academic research weaves together architectural, social, and military histories, shares a few thoughts about Anzac Day (2 mins). At the end of the video is a roll call of the fallen Queeners from the World Wars. Australians are being encouraged to stand at the end of their driveways, on their balconies or in their lounge rooms at 6am on Saturday to commemorate those who served, those who died and those who are still serving. A service will be broadcast live from the Australian National War Memorial in Canberra on the ABC from 5.30am.

10.01.2022 Wyvern Cameron Wolfe (1995), who is now based in the United States, has been involved in a game-changing study with Duke Health into the efficacy of remdesivir as a treatment for CoVID-19. This is truly awe-inspiring dedication at this time of global crisis. Thanks, Cam!
10.01.2022 Aaand that's a wrap! Thanks to everyone who attended the Wyvern Society Virtual Annual Drinks. Huge heartfelt congratulations to David Lawrence, the 2020 Wyvern of the Year (ask him about the marsala & coke!). His ambassadorship with the Indigenous Literacy Foundation is nothing short of inspiring. Thanks to Nicole Crook and Ben Fon for all the hard work they put into organising it. Special mention for Cameron Wolfe, for his sterling infectious diseases work, along with Julia Maguire (WHO) and Megan Robertson at St Vincent's. The Wyverns on the Telly were Ben McKenzie and Jesse Zanker. (Dan Ziffer doesn't count bc he's always on ) And finally, if you zoom in, you can just make out Robbie J and Gruesome to the left...
