12.01.2022 Dry canning They are starting to seal, pop, pop, pop. This is the easiest preservation I've ever done. Sterilize lids, rings and jars. Preheat oven to 250.... Fill jars with dried food. Place in oven for 1 hour. Remove one at a time, wipe top of jar with a damp cloth, put on lid and ring. Hand tighten ring. Transfer to table or area spread with towel or heat mat to cool. Storing flour, pasta, beans, rice and coffee beans. This also eliminates any bugs or worms getting into your food. I've read it this will preserve for up to 25 years.
