23.01.2022 AWKWARD Hello there, this is me awkwardly posing for a photo because that's just how I am. I've never posted a photo of myself here before, yet here we are, and I just wanted to say hi, this is me.... I recently moved my tiny home office into @onwards.studio and that's what's given me the courage to come out and say this is me! I can't wait to come in to work every day at my studio, not only because I get to create beautiful graphics and marketing for you, but because I'm now surrounded by a bunch of bloody legends. A bit about me if you want to know: I studied Visual Communication (graphic design) at the University of Newcastle Australia and graduated in 2006 with an honour roll mention. I also have a keen interest in data and web development and graduated again in 2013 with a Master’s Degree in Digital Media with Distinction. I spend my time at The Yard creating print and digital graphic design work, building functional, fuss-free websites, and managing digital marketing campaigns and SEO for businesses, government, and not-for-profit organisations across Newcastle, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and many other locations across Australia. I launched The Yard Creative in 2018 after working for national businesses, small businesses, and not-for-profits across a variety of creative design, marketing and communications roles since 2005. My mission is to offer an approachable creative service, providing design and marketing expertise to help support your business goals. Outside of work I have a beautiful toddler and husband, and love my local community in quirky Mayfield. I also have two dachshunds who rule my life, and I love retro motorcycles Before I had a kid I rode a '92 Honda CB250 every day for 11 years.
