24.01.2022 The boards have all been updated and set up for our new program! Our new program will start on the 13th of July and it will be a 10 week program! The sessions will focus on proper movement mechanics, strength and conditioning both muscular and cardiovascular! You’ll also be given the tools you need to help with your nutrition and body composition to achieve fat loss or muscle gain (don’t worry ladies you won’t get bulky)! 23.01.2022 Fellas session is finally here! Group session for the boys focusing on strength, size and a smidge of conditioning both muscular and cardio! The sessions will be, ... Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday at 4:30pm and Saturday morning at 10am. These sessions will be perfect for anyone looking to focus on strength training through a structured program in a group environment with a little bit of friendly competition between mates! I will also be coaching you through all of our movements so we move efficiently and pain free! We will be having a couple of sessions this week before we start our program next week! The sessions this week will be, tomorrow 4:30pm and Friday 4:30pm! If your keen to jump in on these sessions send me a message to book in!

22.01.2022 Challenge Winner, Lauren Gleeson!!! Down 6% in body fat, down 19cm in measurements and down 6kg! Up 90kg in strength movements we tested! Squat increased from 40kg to 75kg! (She says 80kg haha)... Deadlift increased from 40kg to 80kg! Couldn’t do a pull up to doing a pull-up with an extra 5kg! Bench increased from 35kg to 40kg! All this is extremely impressive but the change in her mindset is her best achievement! When she came to me it was all about losing weight and being skinny and during the challenge she battled with that! Fast forward to the end of the challenge and she’s loving her new muscles and how strong she is and what she can do now rather than being skinny! Absolutely killed it!!!

22.01.2022 OPEN WEEK AT THE YARD!!! Just a few clips from my Monday morning sessions, if you like the look of them it’s Open Week in the gym! For the rest of this week the gym will be open for anyone to come in for a free coaching session, group session or just a session by themselves! This is the perfect opportunity to come in and give it a try before the challenge starts or just to come in a see what The Yard is about!... 18.01.2022 NEW TRANSFORMATION CHALLENGE AT THE YARD! Challenge starts on Monday the 26th of August! 12 week training and nutrition program based around a total transformation!... You’ll be training for increased strength, increased conditioning level and overall increased performance! You’ll also be following a nutrition program structured and planned for you to decrease body fat without starving you just so you lose weight! The winner will be whoever gets the best results based off of everything mentioned above! There will be 2 winners, 1 from coaching sessions and 1 from group sessions! 16.01.2022 After a week of strength and positioning specific sessions we had to finish with a bit of fun on Saturday! The girls had a big lower body circuit day, which they loved (wait for the end) If you want to be a part of the fun, message to book in!

15.01.2022 CLIENT SHOUTOUT Jessica Welstead When Jess first started training with us a little over 5 months ago she was completely new to the style of training we do in the Yard so we put a lot of work into learning the basics! ... Every session she would rock up with a smile on her face and rip in, just focused on getting better every day and every session her movement, positioning and strength would improve! One of the most impressive things I’ve noticed in Jess is her coachability! It’s phenomenal, every session no matter what I program or how hard I make it she just puts that smile on her face and goes to work! In the time she has been training with me not once has she questioned anything, complained about anything or even commented on anything, she puts 100% of her trust in me and does everything I ask of her! This has earned her the title of The favourite in the group sessions amongst the other girls In our Christmas program all the work she has put in paid off in a big way and we seen some massive changes and results! We set up a nutritional plan for her to follow during the program and every session she’d rock up and rip in like always! By the end of the 8 weeks she had, -Increased her strength across the board by 35kg -Lost 15cm off measurements -Lost 4kg -Lowered her body fat percentage by 5% These are extremely impressive results for a shortened 8 week program and she should be so happy and proud of herself for what she has achieved! It’s been a pleasure to watch and help you so far and I can’t wait to see what’s to come!

10.01.2022 GOAL BOARD! Blake Worsley - 130kg bench press Blake has been doing the boys group strength sessions and set a fairly challenging goal of adding 20kg to his bench press in the last 12 week program. With the motivation of catching and beating Christian he had a solid program and finished up by hitting his 130kg on the final testing day!

08.01.2022 Challenge Winner, @katie_gleeson !!! Strength increase across the board, most notably her deadlift from 70kg to 90kg (100kg only a couple of weeks away, watch this space) and pull-ups from 1 rep which was an absolute struggle to fight for to now banging out sets of 3 comfortably! I’d love to include videos of these however Katie seems to only hit her best lifts when the camera is off! Down 3% in body fat and down 9cm in measurements also!... Katie’s efforts this challenge were massive! We increased her food and worked on getting a much better relationship with it so she can enjoy her tim tams and still progress to her goals! She overcame some big mental barriers with her own self confidence! She was there pretty much every single day of every single week working her backside off! Her attitude around other clients and in the gym have also been massive, she was a shoulder to lean on for some of the girls (even though she didn’t follow her own advice sometimes ) and she has been one of my little helpers in and around the gym! Whether it’s helping with the group sessions or anything else in the gym which goes unnoticed to most but not me! So thank you and congratulations!

05.01.2022 Testing for our squat and bench at the end of our program! Everyone’s strength increases have been very impressive with everyone hitting their programmed target weight and some people even going heavier than planned! Over these 2 movements we had over 185kg strength increases with all the clients! However the improvements in positioning through both movements has been the best result in my opinion, especially the squat! We had clients struggling to squat at the beginning of the program and now everyone is motoring through them! The Yard is the place to be when it comes to getting stronger and improving your body movement!

04.01.2022 Taking the boys through their hinge pattern and then applying it to barbell rows! The hinge pattern is going to teach them to load the hips which will allow them to move more efficiently and pain free (no more tradie lower back pain) If you want to actually train to help and improve your body instead of just working out, the Yard is the place to be!
