22.01.2022 I’ll be honest, life feels like there’s some drama in it every day right now. There seems to be a battle raging on some front somewhere, sometime! People saying things thoughtless, mean or cruel things. People making demands that are unreasonable. People telling me I should find the real truth all the while saying they are not conspiracy theorists - but I should look on the dark web for the real statistics. People finding excuses to complain rather than be grateful. ... And while I understand that identifying the presence of all this is part of learning when I DONT want in my life, learning how to deal with it is quite another matter. My dreams are all over the place as I process all this negativity but I am finding I’m becoming more resilient and and can also predict it a lot more. I’m also surrounding myself with incredible people! And it’s good to have a plan of assessment & actions so you know you enjoy you and what your values are & what action you need to align with that. What I’m working alright right now. I love this illustration as a reminder! How can one can practice re-empowerment? Here are some ideas: Build conscious competence. Think for yourself and make up your own mind. Healthy forms of aggression. Purpose & meaning. Setting boundaries. Standing up for yourself. Using your voice. Exercising your agency. 21.01.2022 Vegan lasagne was the best! Used a meat replacement for the first time & it was @colessupermarkets Herb & Sons has no ill effect on my gut and minimal additives. Great with lentils & herbs in this dish
