05.01.2022 3 years ago my dad thought it would be a good idea to open a restaurant, with no experience we took on this challenge, we were nervous yet excited, it started out good fun but quickly turned downhill, we had the choice to leave or turn it around so we decided to take another challenge and make it work and who would've thought we'd have a little famous successful business! This weekend we say goodbye to The Yellow Donkey, what an incredible, tiring, inspirational journey it ha...s been and a life lesson! Everything is possible if you put your mind to it! I'd like to thank all my friends and family for the ongoing support throughout the years! With every tear, screaming match and fight it has only brought us closer together as a family! And my friends for putting up with my constant whining about it I owe you all a shot of tequila This is definitely one of the saddest times because we'll be saying farewell to our second home and something that we've worked so hard for! Time to close this door and maybe open another! For now it's time to relax and enjoy our time together ! make your way down to the yellow donkey for our last day! Thank you to my dad and my Mumma for giving us this once in a life time incredible opportunity even when I said I hated it I really did love it We did what we had to do and now we can sit back and laugh at all the ups and downs ! Also a MASSIVE thank you to all our beautiful customers who have become like family to us, you will be missed and to all our wonderful staff who are not only our staff but our family! thank you to our suppliers ! We hope we left a good mark on all of you! Here's to The Yellow Donkey Xo Simone and Family!
