25.01.2022 A lovely view from the Zambelli Fruit farm this afternoon.

24.01.2022 lots happening at the farm at the moment! Big changes.

20.01.2022 Plenty of plumcots on our tree.

20.01.2022 This spring we have had some beehives on the property helping to pollinate the grapes so we can compare yields and assess any benefit. Justin took this picture in our newly planted vines late last week.

20.01.2022 Cherry flowers and baby plumcots here on the farm. It looks like the plumcot tree has been well pollinated by our bees.

17.01.2022 Big plans ahead this coming spring for this block of land

15.01.2022 The Zambelli Fruit Company has wine grapes available for sale this year. Approximate volumes and varieties as as follows - 1-2tonnes of Muscat, 1tonne Temprenillo, 1/2tonne Chardonay. If you are interested please contact Tim Allen on 0402355500

13.01.2022 When we started talking about how we could diversify I purchased a Spring Satin Plumcot. It requires pollination from an apricot so I also purchased a Fireball Apricot. While we will be growing neither of these varieties commercially in the future and the trees will be only for personal consumption it's great to see them coming along. This picture is go the lovely flowers which are currently beginning to cover the apricot.

11.01.2022 Thanks to admin Cassy for taking these photos this morning while I'm stuck in Brisbane.

10.01.2022 Spring is not far away now. Still quite cold in the mornings but lovely during the says now.

10.01.2022 Gather around for today's lesson kids. (tom)

06.01.2022 After missing out on the majority of the rain produced by the Low that swept down from the Gulf (we received 5mm) we have finally gotten some rain overnight and today - 13mm so far - and there looks to be some storms developing out west and moving our way which means more much needed rain - hopefully no severe elements.

05.01.2022 For some time now I have been alluding to a somewhat special but secret project we have been working towards getting off the ground. The good news is that ANFIC are happy for me to let you know what it's all about. This spring we are undertaking a test planting of some new varieties of kiwiberries for development in Australia. Much of the project will remain underwraps but from now on I will be posting regular updates about how things are progressing. After receiving them from the nursery earlier in the week, they have now all been sorted and inventoried to ensure the numbers we were invoiced matched what we received.
