21.01.2022 Seems a little silly doesn't it? Who doesn't want love? Yet there are many people that are terrified of it. Some respond to my posts by saying you can't be loving in legal practice. They say it's all about winning and competition ... why? Why can't it be about uniting people? This thought pattern is merely a product of human programming. In childhood we created unconscious rules for our survival. The legal system is a merely reflection of the internal rules we've created for... ourselves. This system we've created is now controlling us and we can't see past it. Lawyers for Love fondly refer to this as legal fetishism. If you think survival is your basic instinct, consider that people will sadly kill themselves because they don't feel loved. Yes, we would rather die than feel unloved. Love is of the essence of all we do. It's our reason for being. To work in fear based survival structures is nothing more than killing ourselves, killing our authenticity. The paradox is, we fear love because it means that we will need to drop each of those rules we created. The rules that feel so familiar to us. We need to drop our false identities. After some self-reflection after being subjected to the Family Law system, I felt it's time to stop tip-toeing around my beliefs. I'm coming right out to say it, "the legal system is broken!". ... Ahhh... that feels better. I am out and proud and am walking my talk. I am shifting the way I practice within the legal system. Yes, I am still a lawyer for the sake of making a difference within the system, but I refuse to play by its rules. I am a lawyer that wants to bring love into the system. I have written my views on that below. Call me crazy but after what I have experienced, I see no alternative.

Resist nothing. Hold nothing. Push nothing away. That’s when you’re truly been able to embrace life at its fullest. That’s true fulfilment.

15.01.2022 They talk about karma- what you put out is what you get back. What this really means is: when you look at the world, how do you feel about it? When you face the situation and choose to feel negative about it, you are getting negative feedback. If you choose to look at the situation and find a positive in it, you will get positive feedback. Your karma is your choice entirely. How do I feel? How do I feel? How do I feel? It’s most important question of all playing this game. To have a positive experience, find the most positive response you can give to you life

11.01.2022 There are times when the drama can be too much for you to just try and ‘be positive’ about an unpleasant situation. To start feeling better, all you need to do is find some relief. One way is to imagine you are standing on the balcony of a tall building looking down at you and the predicament you’re in. Now you can see how small it really is. Take a deep breath and stay in that space for a while until the energy dissipates. It’s not until your energy slows it’s negative momentum that you can start a move toward the positive. Get high
