13.06.2022 After my disastrous Indypac abandon I was nervous about getting back on the bike, but I did it. 300km later I finished.

29.05.2022 I've pulled the pin. Too many niggles and my legs have just given out. I have been picked uo by the wife of a other rider. I'm being driven to Quarading to stay for the night and will return to Perth tomorrow. This wasn't my year. I'm so sorry to let so many people down.

17.05.2022 So I'm about 1/2 way to York so far. I'm terribly underdone leading into this, so I am doing a reset plan for my first 3 days. I will limp my way into York today, get a good rest and feed and I plan to aim for Bruce Rock for day two. I am suffering pretty bad already with todays climbing so far. For day three I plan to do Bruce Rock to Southern Cross. I just want to survive today to be totally honest. I'm having a good rest at the dam before pushing on. One pedal stroke at a time. Only 50% of people who start this event manage to finish, so just keep that in mind. So please remember that. I will do what I physically can to continue for as long as I can.

12.05.2022 About 10 hours to the start of the 6th edition of Indypac at South Mole Lighthouse, Fremantle. 8 riders dipped their rear wheel at Bathers Beach in the Indian Ocean at midday in recognition of the rich history of cycling explorers and distance riders undertaking rides of great endurance in Australia. The finishers will get the honor of dipping their front wheel into the Pacific Ocean after arrival. #bemoremike #thinbluedot #nswpolicelegacy
