20.01.2022 Caring for Your Tree Think of your Christmas Tree as a very large bunch of flowers. Most importantly, it requires water to survive. We, therefore, recommend erecting your tree in a Christmas Tree Stand designed to hold water - the more the better. It may at first, and on hot dry days, drink 2 or 3 Litres of water per day, it is, therefore, important to regularly check the water levels in your stand. When first cut, sap bleeds from the cut. This can dry and block the little tu...bes through which your tree will drink. It is important, therefore, to cut 2cm from the base of your tree and then immediately place it into water. This will open up those tubes and enable your tree to drink. Although best done when you have your tree at home and immediately before you put it in water, if you don't feel confident or have the tools to perform this step, please do not hesitate to ask our staff to do it for you. If you don't wish to immediately erect your tree, store it in a cool, protected place in a bucket of water. See more

07.01.2022 Ho Ho Ho! Hello everybody, it's that time of year again. We will be selling Christmas Trees & tree stands on week ends as usual from the RSPCA in East Burwood again this year. (29 years now, I think) Our trading hours will be Saturdays & Sundays, 8:00am - 6:00pm from Saturday 3/12/15. We look forward to seeing you all again.... All the best till then. See more
