17.01.2022 Concerned about your child’s hearing? Download the sounds scouts app from Australian hearing. Use good headphones and check your kids hearing.

10.01.2022 Supremely greatful that we can have mornings like this. Just sitting here listening to their negotiation skills develop and their imaginations grow. Currently the noodles are a helicopter that they're upgrading. "Underwater scanner indicates movement" lol.

09.01.2022 Unstructured play leads to: Imaginative play Role play Tinkering Expression through art... Trying new things If children are together it also helps Social skills like conversation, negotiation, turn taking, sharing. It builds frustration tolerance, resilience and self direction. You DON'T have to keep them entertained! It's good for them to be bored. Notice what game they're playing and let them take the lead. Play with their direction. They'll always remember those moments.

08.01.2022 Did you know the study of morphology is really powerful for kids that are having trouble decoding complex words? If they understand how morphemes work they have a much better chance or working out that re/port/ed. Is the act of taking something (port) back (re) and that it’s finished (Ed). And they can get that re/port/er. Is someone who takes info back for the same reason.

02.01.2022 Right now it is clouding over. Definitely time for a book fort. Team it up with some Decodable readers and everyone is happy.

01.01.2022 I think this is so true and all teachers and parents should read it.
