03.01.2022 "This is my home," she says. "I’m connected to the community and the philosophy we breathe." Meet Taryn, our Principal - and one of the best in the business! But truth be told, she wasn't always an early childhood education specialist. Having her own family triggered a shift in Taryn's career path, driving her to escape the corporate world for a more family-orientated occupation. And coming from a family of prior-teachers (not to mention always wanting to study education!)..., the sector seemed a natural fit. She has since completed her Early Years qualification with distinction and merit for advocacy. Taryn has been with us from day dot, starting on 5 January 2015. In fact, her youngest daughter was one of the first little ones through the door. She's the perfect fit for ThinkersInq, with a strong belief in enabling children to be the authors of questions, the builders of theories, and the constructors of their own knowledge. She's an advocate for stimulating further questions and investigation, and developing a positive attitude towards lifelong learning. What are your beliefs around investigation and play?
