25.01.2022 Your brain doesn’t care what you ask it to look for or focus on, but your body and soul does. If you look for white Mazda’s, you will see them everywhere. If you want to get pregnant, you will see pregnant women everywhere. If you look for all the things that go wrong in your life, you will find it everywhere and it will be your experience.... If you look for roses, you will see them every where. Think of of 3 things that have gone well each day. You won’t just think it you will feel it and you might even start seeing it everywhere. 20.01.2022 ... learn more about your yourself and operate under your power to create better health, relationships and careers. I believe in my power to change And my clients. We get to choose our thoughts. Our thoughts create our experiences. Which means we are responsible for our experiences. This is truly great news.... It is not people, places and things that create a problem. It is how we choose to think and react to these circumstances. Being an emotional adult means taking full responsibility for all your life experiences. Every thought we think is creating our future. No doubt, we are all dealing with damaging patterns of resentment, criticism, guilt, and self loathing. These are thoughts. And thoughts can be changed. The point of power is in the here and now. Are your thoughts serving you? Take responsibility for your own life. Do not give your power away. You can change what you choose to think in every moment. Problems are thoughts. We create thoughts. Thoughts are purely and in essence illusions we create ourselves. May as well choose ones that serve us and create only good results in our lives. 18.01.2022 Hugh Van Cuylenburg, author of ‘The Resilience Project’, believes mindfulness is one of keys to happiness. Mindfulness can increase our wellbeing, reduce depression symptoms, decrease stress and exhaustion. And above all assist us to have a happier more joyful life. Mindfulness is simply the act of being aware and present in the moment. ... Buddhist teachings believe that suffering is caused by our desire for what we do not have, and that our suffering ends when we stop wanting or craving and accept what is. If I have that car... then I will be happy. When I... then I will be happy. We can pass through years, an entire day, morning, 5 minutes without any consciousness of what we were thinking or doing. This is not to say that we should not set and strive for goals. Only that we learn to be present and grateful for the moment. In fact mindfulness allows us to become more aware and deliberate in our life. The ‘5-4-3-2-1’ exercise encourages us to notice and list five things we can see, four things we can touch, three things we can hear, two things we can smell, and one thing we can taste. 17.01.2022 I believe the best way to be good to our body is to love it. Don’t wait to become thinner or more muscular. It’s an act of love to take care of our body. As we figure out the which foods give us optimal strength and energy, we can then stick to those foods. As we learn more about nutrition, we begin to notice how certain foods make us feel better after eating them. So go ahead and cherish the temple you live in. Just love yourself. Because you deserve it. You deserve to feel good all of the time. Tash

16.01.2022 I tell my clients it is not enough to read or hear something intellectually. Practice is the breakfast of champions. Intentional practice is magic. When we start being coached there are new concepts and skills that change our life. Some of us experience some discomfort in practicing the skills of modern mind health coaching and others find it easy and become even more advanced quickly. It doesn’t matter where we start. Just that we do.... Mozart was bathed in music by his demanding father, and from the age of 3 received intensive instruction. His genius magnified over time. Samurai masters often suffer and find handling the sword awkward at times. My point is, we are not born masters and the more we become skilled and learned we can find our performance worsening during practice. Being aware of what we are doing can interfere with performance and smoothness in early the stages. Like a Samaria, once skills have been practiced and learned to perfection it is wise to retire or retreat to a mountain meditation and forget what you have learned. I like to take a break from all my learning for a few weeks at a time. This allows natural integration of new skills and knowledge into my way of being. Practice changes your body. The brain drives the brawn. Short term intensity cannot replace long term commitment. Practice provides a continuous feedback loop. Coaching is an opportunity to talk about feedback, whether it be in relationships or work outcomes. Make your own magic. Love, abundance and creativity Tash
16.01.2022 The exercise effect has been found to be as effective as meds for mild depression. The most powerful study to date found that exercise can overcome issues that lead to brain atrophy and depression. And can increase learning, memory and higher thinking. 16.01.2022 Self love is not vain or conceited. Vain and conceited people tend to have a lot of self hate and self loathing covered over by I’m better than you. When you love yourself you grow up. You can grow beyond your past, beyond your fears, your ego, beyond all your small ideas about yourself and learn what you are really capable of. As a coach, teacher and a parent, I teach and allow my clients, students and children how to love themselves by giving them the space to feel safe ...to express themselves in positive, harmless ways. Coaches, teachers and parents who love themselves will find it easier to teach about self love. When we feel good about ourselves, we teach self worth by example. I believe the more I work on loving myself, the more my clients, students and children will realise that it’s perfectly okay. 14.01.2022 Happy Friday! Grab a pen We are half way through 2020. Where are you going to spend your energy in the next half year.... Brainstorm the top 15 things you could do in the remainder of 2020 to improve your life. Write them down. Here are some examples: *get more sleep *join gym classes *power clean 90 kg *eat for health *create and stick to a budget *weekly date nights *loose 5kg *save $5000 *daily gratitude practice *read or listen to 5 books *pay off credit card *clean out bathroom cupboard, pantry and shed *study a diploma *get a life coach Keep going until you have 15 things. Looking at your list of 15 things, cross out 5 items on your list that are least important or least impactful. Now you have 10! Cross out 5 more that are least important or least impactful. Now you have 5! Cross out 2 more. Now you have your top 3! The brain does not have unlimited brain juice. So use it where it matters most for you. These 3 items are your focus. 13.01.2022 If choice equals creation. And thoughts create our experiences. Then there is great power in choice. The way we perceive ourselves is a choice. How do you perceive yourself? Sometimes we feel one way and sometimes we feel another way.... If I perceive myself as incompetent in social situations and this is a choice I have made. This will always be my experience. Your choice is what you create. It does take practice and courage to choose another thought and to live into the experience. This is how we grow to our next best version. Resilience and self confidence are bonus byproducts of a new braver choice. With enormous self love, have your best friends back (that’s you by the way) and make a choice to create a new experience for her today. Grab your fav. notebook and a pen. There is no write or wrong answers to any of these questions, just your answers. 1. What is your option of you? (Write two paragraphs) 2. Do you think you are living the life you are meant to live? 3. What do you think about your past? 4. How do you feel about what you have created in your life so far? 5. 09.01.2022 I love the practice of allowing others to be themselves. When I say practice, for me, it’s been conscious effort to release old family limitations and expectations. To know I am not my parents, nor their own patterns or resentments. I am unique, and I choose my own heart, which chooses compassion and the knowing that we are all doing our best in any given moment, and that this is true for all of us. 08.01.2022 So many of us make the mistake of thinking that we are too old or not equipped for learning a new skill or knowledge. If you don’t use it, you will lose it, could not be a more true statement. I like to stretch myself in areas that scare me every so often. I created ( bad) art and displayed it in a local exhibition. I joined swimming squad with children so I could improve my swimming technique. I took up Pilates, and my body is making positive changes. I began studying a ...masters degree, so I could constantly gain more knowledge and skills to become a better coach and writer. I love to learn things that stretch me and things I haven’t experienced before. One thing I know for sure, is that I will keep expressing new creativity and practicing self acceptance and self love until I leave this lifetime. 07.01.2022 Great questions to ask your partner every few years. Last Friday night, over a quiet evening pre dinner drink I asked my partner of 25 years some questions I had never asked him before. The questions promoted creativity for change.... They created an opportunity to rewrite our story. A better: partner,parent, career, identity. My only job was to ask and listen. How are we doing? What are the strengths between us? Where are we at? What has been good in our life? Where could we do better? What could we do differently? Are we doing right by our children? Are we meeting some of our important needs at this point? What has changed for us?(e.g. sickness, lost a parent, lost a child). What’s changing in our life? Tip: Ask these questions when things are good, not when you are in a crisis. I really loved listening to his answers and connecting at a level of authenticity. 07.01.2022 Going to the gym and doing reps, builds our muscles and we get stronger. However, we get the best results when we eat a nutritious diet as well. Building mental strength is really no different. Mental strength is getting rid of old habits. Old thoughts that no longer serve us and creating new thoughts that serve us.... This requires reps. We get even better results when we practice gratitude. Neuro science describes this as our brains plasticity. Our brain has the capacity to change and strengthen new pathways. With reps. Our brain learns through two types of circuits. One circuit is where we learn a concept, and we get it on an intellectual level.This does not mean it then becomes our habit. For example I can teach you all about going to the gym and it’s benefits for you. And you will fully understand. But it does not mean you will go to the gym and make a change. The other circuit is where we learn by doing. These are the reps. This is how we develop a new habit. I can get so stubborn when I decide to make a change in my life. My resistance to change can be so strong. I can temporarily become self righteous, angry and withdrawn. I know when this happens, I am hitting an important point of change. I’m going deeper into myself and replacing each old layer with new thinking. Some of it’s easy and some is like shifting a massive rock with a feather. The more I hold onto an old belief, that is not serving me, I know it’s an important one for me to change. So I slowly and compassionately start the reps of building my mental strength alittle more. 04.01.2022 When a path, purpose, yearning, calling or what ever you want to call it, is laid before us, we have the choice to just trust and go with it and allow it to flow, or remain stuck in fear. Trusting and going with it can be just as terrifying. But the discomfort of growth and creativity is so fulfilling. If you want to know who you are, act, don’t just ask. 02.01.2022 I have a client who I began seeing two years ago when she was 16. Today we laughed as we celebrated her growth. I love that she can laugh about her resistance and own her ‘stuck ness’ when we first started to work together. She is 18 now and a rapidly evolving, empowered and vulnerable human. In fact, she has taught me so much on our journey together. We discussed how we can use memories but not allow memories to use us.... We talked about the concept: The past is gone. The future is not here. Now I am free of both. What am I choosing right now? We have stories from the past. Your story creates your present and your future.
