Sometimes it’s the practices that we think we don’t need, that we need the most. ... Restorative allows us to create space for ourselves to feel held and supported, whist we calm the nervous system. You will now be able to create your own acct and book your classes online any time of the day that suits. There are passes available that will save you money If you need to cancel your class, please cancel 12hrs prior (no need to message me anymore) it will free the spot for another Yogi to book in and you’ll be able to rebook another class Book your classes weekly or weeks in advance if you need any help in booking or have any questions please let me know. We look at this pose and it may seem easy but sometimes being in stillness is the most challenging part because more often than not we keep our minds busy so we don’t feel discomfort - I invite you to connect with yourself today and take a moment or two to be still, to breathe slow, to let go, to really pause. 15.01.2022 Are you ready to create some calm amongst the crazy. How December is almost here I don’t know, what I do know is how your practice on your mat, connecting within and creating stillness and space can support you through the next couple of months. Something you will often hear me ask you in class is to reflect on your practice without judgement and find something to take with you that is going to support you. It might be how you move on your mat from pose to pose and apply... this to how you move from one daily activity to the next. Yoga is not just practiced on your mat, it’s a way of life. And what you learn and practice on your mat you will slowly notice these ways becoming habits throughout your days. Maybe your breath is slower, maybe you are more aware of how you are responding, maybe it becomes more natural to be kind to yourself and tune in with how you are feeling. I’d love you to come and explore what this space creates for you.

15.01.2022 How do you set yourself up for the day? What creates mental clarity and strength for you? A few tips if your new to mindfulness or meditation: Start with observation - in stillness ask yourself how you feel physically, mentally, emotionally without judgement. Just observe what comes up, this will help you support yourself better for the day. Take some slow deep breathes right down into the diaphragm and notice how that feels ... Take a few minutes to sit in stillness- practice being in the present moment Set an intention for your day - ask yourself these questions to help you: what is going to support you today? What is going to help you to to be the best version of yourself? Move mindfully - whether it’s for 30 mins or 5 mins. Move in a way that feels good, awaken the spine and get your energy flowing through your body. Practice gratitude- ask yourself to find 3 things you are grateful for right now. Notice the shift in energy. These are just a few - feel free to share how you create space for yourself in the mornings

I’d like to begin offering you virtual classes so you can all still enjoy the benefits of your practice in your own home.... Keeping ourselves moving mindfully and practising yoga is so important for our wellness, mentally, physically and emotionally, especially now more than ever. So let’s keep supporting each other and keeping each other safe. Here's how it will work: If you are not signed up to the current 8 week classes, but would like to attend the online classes for the next two weeks, you are welcome to pay a two week fee of $36 which will give you access to every live class done over the next two week period. I’d love to continue offering support through yoga to as many people as possible. Let’s stay grounded, connected and supportive. Feel free to tag your friends who might like to join us. 01.01.2022 It’s so nice to see a few new faces popping up, so I thought I’d check in and introduce myself- So Hey my name is Jess and I’ve been teaching yoga for nearly 7 years. What started out to be a little side gig and passion, has turned into so much more. A passion, lifestyle and career all rolled into one. A never ending journey of self discovery I’ve have a bachelor of psychological science w/ sub-major in human movement and always thought I’d become a sports psychologis...t. Funny how life rolls out. You’ll rarely find me in anything other than activewear, I love an adventure and am always up for a laugh. I’m a mama to three little boys Oliver 4, Rory 2 and and Leo 3 months. They keep me on my toes, it’s not all rainbows around here with these little babes, breathing techniques sure do come in handy but I’m trying my best to teach them about everything yoga has to offer. Practicing gratitude every morning or night is non negotiable in this house (even if their answer contains a few words along the lines of poo, bum and fart ). I have an amazing husband who has not only been supportive of my journey teaching yoga, he’s often racing home from his job to allow me to work (if I can call it that), but recently built me a studio at home. A dream come true. He may have finally just started some classes too. My favourite quote is Everything is nothing and nothing is everything- (a topic for another day) essentially everything in life is what we make it - it can be everything or it can be nothing depending on how we respond. I’m here to support you in becoming the best version of yourself on and off the mat. I recently rebranded upon the opening of my studio to ‘Third Space'. Third Space; a space outside of your home space, outside of your work space, I welcome and invite you into your Third Space. A space for you to transform your sense of self whilst cultivating a deep connection and unity of the mind, body, breath and soul I’d love to meet you or see you on the mat in class (currently all outdoors due to covid- but hopefully in our beautiful studio very soon).
