24.01.2022 Part 2 of 2 with my favs. After the shoot in the Watagans, we drove out to their amazing little Air BnB cottage to have a fire and warm up after being soaked by the rain. We sat, sipped wine and tea, ate chocolate and talked about good things until they finally got sick of me and I went home. ... To date one of the best engagement shoots I’ve done and I’m super proud of these two and the work they helped me create

18.01.2022 Little story about these legends real quick... After the amazing wedding of Katie & Matt, we took off in Matt's new toy, an AMG Mercedes. Matt, being the legend that he is, gave me the keys and entrusted me with his precious baby which I had no idea what to do with. For those who don't know, I drive a 35 year old Landcruiser and am hardly breaking any land speed records so this was well outside my vehicular comfort zone. Matt put it in "Bitch mode" for me which was so kind of him and we got to our destination quicker than you could say "Alex shat his pants."

With the help of my amazing friend Cooper aka @the.wilderness.chef we got this shot and I’ll treasure it forever!

05.01.2022 I know I’m late to the party but HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Instead of jumping on the socials and making sure that you all knew what I was up to, I barely touched my phone and got to spend some amazing time with people that I love dearly and it was amazing! #sorrynotsorry What better way to celebrate the new year than with the bringing together of two people madly in love with each other!! Simon & Freya, you had every reason under the sun to be bummed about the circumstances that were thrust upon you for this time of your lives. You both handled it like absolute champions though and I can’t stop smiling as I look through the photos and relive the day! You’ll see more of these legends very soon

01.01.2022 In photography, business and just life in general, I feel like I’m my own worst critic... I’ve always had a tendency to judge my own work with the harshest of eyes and not give myself any of the credit I would give freely to my amazing fellow creators. Having said that, I would be nothing without the confidence and comfort that amazing couples/friends place in me to work for them. When I’m given complete creative freedom, I come alive... When I get to attack a scene in the w...ay that I want and can channel everything in my creative arsenal, I put my best work together. This set of images is hands down one of my favourite sets I’ve ever shot and my self critic doesn’t mind saying it! So much so that I’m doing the second part of it tomorrow! Please sit back, take more than 3 second to feast your eyes and also pass on your congratulations to Laura + Brendan for being so damn good looking
