15.01.2022 Congratulations to Lorraine and Neville Smith for hosting and sponsoring another successful Breast Cancer Golf Day. It was quite a sight to see the course and clubhouse covered in pink. A special thank you to Robyn Sutcliffe for providing an emotional insight into her own experiences as a breast cancer survivor at the tender age of 30, don't think there was a dry eye in the house. Perhaps its a timely reminder to all ladies, regardless of age to check your breasts, and for the gentlemen to remind those important women in your life to do the same. Actually, to everyone, if you feel something isn't right with your health, GET IT CHECKED. Its so much better to be told "its nothing to worry about" than leave it till its too late

12.01.2022 Pennant Results..... At the end of the 1st home & away round the Ladies div 1 pennant team finished with 2 wins & 2 losses, and sitting 3rd on the ladder. Today saw the start of round 2, with our girls scoring a win at home over Devonport 3 - 2. Lets hope the run continues with the next two home games. Our div 2 girls start tomorrow.....good luck to all playing.... Our mens div 3 team kicked off today, unfortunately going down to Seabrook 5 - 2. Better luck next week. Good luck to our div 2 & 4 boys for next week, both having a bye today.

03.01.2022 A huge thank you to the organising committee and congratulations on a job very well done for all your efforts in putting together a very successful weekend celebrating the 50 year anniversary of the club and 40 years of being at Thirlstane last weekend. Bevis Dutton, Neville Smith, Lorraine Smith, Tony Dick, Jan Richardson and Garry Beaton, the work you put into the weekend celebrations epitomises the reason why our club is so successful. It was great to see so many faces, o...ld and new, joining in the festivities with over 80 playing in the Foundation Cup on Saturday and 41 pairs playing in the Thea & Barry Isles Perpetual trophy day on Sunday. A big thank you is also extended to everyone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to help bring the weekend together from course staff, bar staff, kitchen ladies to the starters and those who helped with results.
