22.01.2022 PASSION is doTERRAs inspiring blend. What area of your life could you do with some extra passion? Bedroom comes to mind first, right? Sure...lather it on. Maybe in the workplace? Absolutely...pop it in your desktop diffuser and go for it! You know where it works for me? In the playroom with my son...I really struggle sometimes with pretending to be Iron Man or Captain Barnacle AGAIN. Cue PASSION...a drops on the nape of my neck and I'm ready to leap tall buildings in a singl...e bound ;-) BoNuS!!! PASSION is on sale this month at 10% off...

17.01.2022 SUPPORTING HORMONES WITH CLARY CALM

16.01.2022 Don't forget you can take advantage of the US BOGO this time...and I'm pumped about this particular combo. Perfect for all those after school meltdowns we're experiencing at the start of the school year.

13.01.2022 Whatever the circumstances of your heartache, CONSOLE essential oil blend is an incredible support. DEATH - I use CONSOLE extensively at different times but in particular during the month of March leading up to the death of my daughter. The sadness and ache remain but the overwhelming pain is reduced. MOURNING - I have a friend using it at the moment as she mourns her father - he is still alive but is suffering dementia and can't remember her. She says it's like mourning ...the living even though they have already gone. She uses CONSOLE as a perfume on her wrists when she goes to visit her dad. SEPARATION - A girlfriend is struggling at the moment with the results of a marriage breakdown. Splitting from her husband was something that she wanted but her heart aches every night her children have sleepovers at their fathers home. On those nights she sleeps with CONSOLE in her diffuser. LOSS - A client who felt overwhelmed by the loss of her business and life work, used CONSOLE with great results. She says that when she starts to panic about what will come next, she uses CONSOLE to anchor her in the present. This is one of the ones that I always offer people as a sample so they can experience the sweet relief it provides. Let me know if you'd like me to pop some in the mail for you.

13.01.2022 I know! I know! It's Valentine's Day and your feeds are flooded with images of roses, teddy bears and recipes for passion inducing essential oil blends ;-) But how's your actual heart? We've all got one. We all know someone that has/had a dodgy heart. We all need to look after our hearts. And we all know how to do it...adjusting your diet (particularly including anti-inflammatory foods), reducing stress levels, sleep and regularly exercising are fundamental to controlling inf...lammation and, therefore, naturally treating and preventing coronary heart disease. But what else can you do? Many health professionals are now suggesting essential oils. Dr Josh Axe says "There are many natural plant-derived essential oils that can help heal inflammation and symptoms related to heart disease. Some include lemon oil, lemongrass oil, frankincense oil, helichrysum oil and ginger oil. The active ingredients found in plants are their most potent in this concentrated form. Ginger essential oil, for example, contains the highest levels of anti-inflammatory gingerol, and helichrysum oil kicks off inflammatory enzyme inhibition, free-radical scavenging activity and corticoid-like effects." But obviously any exercise you engage in this evening is also going to help with heart health ;-)

10.01.2022 FEBRUARY FEEL GOOD CLEANSE & DETOX UPDATE So we're into the RESET (second) phase of the 30 day program and the cleanse and detox group have been focusing on health, beauty and cleaning products. We've been looking at how harmful many of our daily products are and what some of the alternatives are. We've also been looking at simple, cheap and easy strategies for supporting our systems in this phase...including DRY BRUSHING. Have you tried it?... Small, soft, circular brush strokes towards the heart (starting at fingers up the arms, toes up the legs, abdomen up the torso and shoulders down the torso) before you hop in the shower of a morning. It stimulates cell regeneration, sloughs off dead skin cells and initiates lymph fluid movement throughout your system. You're skin will look smooth and polished, particularly if you lather up with some coconut oil afterwards! Pop a few drops of YLANG YLANG, LAVENDER or GERANIUM essential oils in with your coconut (or jojoba if your skin is a bit drier) into the oil to support inflammation and antioxidants. Great for this time of year to maintain that summer glow without the scaly look ;-)

06.01.2022 Over in our FEBRUARY FEEL GOOD group we've been talking about how are bodies are absolutely assaulted everyday with harmful chemicals and compounds. Many of us are unaware that the problem exists, assuming that if an item is harmful then it wouldn't be on our grocery shelves. Think again!!! Companies are responsible for their own safety testing and have the final say on whether an item goes to market...kind of like letting the fox protect the hen house wouldn't you agree? A p...erfect example of this conflict of interest (and one of the examples that infuriates me most) is VICKS VAPOUR RUB...determined to be safe by its manufacturer Procter and Gamble. We pop it on our bubs when they have the sniffles and can't breathe. We lather it on to their little chests and along the soles of their tiny feet. Two of the ingredients include PETROLATUM and TURPENTINE OIL. Petrolatum, commonly known as petroleum jelly, is a byproduct of petroleum...otherwise known as PETROL. It's massively refined to be 'made safe' but the EWG says there is a risk of contamination from polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), cancer-causing chemicals found in crude oil and its by-products. And according to webmd turpentine oil when used on the skin, can cause skin irritation. When inhaled, turpentine oil can cause spasms of the airways, particularly in people with asthma and whooping cough. See why I get infuriated? Maybe you do too... If you don't have the time or inclination to make your own products, then make safer more informed choices. Check your product ingredients on apps such as CHEMICAL MAZE, Cosmetifique and the Peaceful Nursery Guide to ensure safety for you and your family.

03.01.2022 Day Two BOGO offerings are awesome. My most frequent use for these two gems? AROMATOUCH sits on my bedside table for restless legs/feet that wake me up at night or keep me from falling asleep. Rub it in with a carrier oil for instant relief. CITRUS BLISS is g o r g e o u s when combined with yesterday's BOGO freebie of SPEARMINT and popped in the diffuser. But at our house it's the primary ingredient in our toilet freshener. We have a glass spray bottle filled with demin...eralised water + CITRUS BLISS + CYPRESS to reduce the pong and airborne bugs as needed ;-) What are your most frequent uses for this lovely duo?
