25.01.2022 Hey guys. I think our staff have started a secret fight club, as they all seem to have neck and shoulder injuries at the moment! Consequently, we won't be open tonight unfortunately. But we'll be back next Wednesday with more delicious foods for you! Cheers everyone, and sorry again!

24.01.2022 Hey my favourite social media peeps! Just a quick message to let you know a couple of things. Firstly, we are open for dine in eating once more! So if you would prefer to enjoy our food with a rad old-school soundtrack and a pretty decent selection of hot sauces, you can finally come in and do it again! Secondly, as we're now back open its time to add this tasty little burger back on the menu!... It's our amazing brisket burger, and not only can you also get a vegan version of it, you can also add brisket (or vegan brisket) to your poutine to take it to the next level! We're going to be closed tonight however, as I'm reorganising the diner storeroom and currently have stuff almost literally everywhere. So hang in there everyone. 12.01.2022 Ok. So our new burger The Eureka was a smashing success last week; so much so that we ran out of potato cakes to make them with. To remedy that situation this week, I stayed up very late last night and into this morning to make - and let's be frank here - an absolute shitload of them. 11.01.2022 Howdy everyone! What a year huh?! It was a bit of a dumpster fire there for most of it (especially that actual fire where half the country burned down.....), but we bloody got to the end of it! I just want to thank everyone for being such supportive champions of the diner this year! It's really meant a lot that even when you couldn't come in and order in person, we saw your names popping up on orders on our website week after week. We're gonna be closing after tonight for a s...hort break, but we'll be back and raring to go on Wednesday the 6th of January. Again, thank you so much for all your support this year. We'll be raising a glass to you all at our staff Christmas party tomorrow night for sure! It's our take on the famous (and delicious) Tower burger from a well known fast food establishment.... Fried chicken, cheese, a potato cake, lettuce, mayo and a spicy tomato mustard sauce. 07.01.2022 Hey everyone! I hope lockdown is treating you all OK, especially those of you who work at Bunnings (as I used to) and are having to deal with maskless Karen's all day......... Anyway, this is just a 'quick' message to say that the diner is gonna be closed this week. I booked a stay at Wilson's Promontory a few Tuesdays ago, but then that same afternoon this delightful second lockdown was announced and my trip was cancelled. I've decided to still take the week in question off ...however, as it's been a loooong time since my last holiday. But instead of enjoying this view, I'll be weeding and feeding my garden and pruning my roses. Exciting stuff!! According to Telstra, some local construction work has cut through our phone and data cables, leaving us with an entirely non-functional ordering and kitchen docket system. 03.01.2022 Just double checking the subwoofer in the diner still works after I cut through the live circuit it was plugged into a couple of weeks ago. It does! Also, if you are ever in charge of tunes whilst riding shotgun on a trip from Canberra back to Melbourne (before COVID), I cannot recommend this song on repeat highly enough! My fellow trip mates loved it, then hated it, then hated me, then loved it again, then hated me again.... Such a memorable journey!... Song score: 4/10

I for one have kept madness at bay by building this new desk from the tiny cut up pieces of my old desk. *cue blatant shot of new desk* But anyway, I'm just here to let you know we'll be open to feed you guys all the takeaway burgs and chicken you can eat this week as usual - EXCEPT for Sunday night. I repeat, we won't be open Sunday this week.... But as I expect you'll all be sick from cramming chocolate into your foodholes all day, you probably won't be too worried. OK guys. 01.01.2022 Hey guys. Just a quick P.S.A. about Telstra. DON'T USE THEM. They overcharge and under-deliver their services in the most spectacular of ways. Consequently, the diner is left yet again without a properly functioning internet connection, so unfortunately we'll be closed tonight and tomorrow night.... However, I've just signed us up to a new ISP, so next week join us in saying goodbye to the anus of telecommunications companies and hello to Aussie Broadband! Sorry guys! TL;DR - diner is closed tonight and tomorrow because Telstra sucks :(
