22.01.2022 With all of the bad press surrounding the backpacker tax, this is the last thing the agriculture industry needs right now. Dodgy operators like this are giving legitimate labour providers a bad reputation. http://www.heraldsun.com.au//74899b1f89f0d1f4be99c1f614288

Its also fantastic that they are really trying to get more females into work in the agricultural sector. http://www.abc.net.au//farming-experience-brings-w/8055536

10.01.2022 Our business, The Job Shop, relies heavily on the agricultural sector where we provide machinery operators for seeding and harvest as well as permanent farm staff throughout WA the NT and parts of QLD. Whilst WA is having a season, we are very mindful of those in the Eastern States who are not. We have just donated to www.buyabale.com.au specifying our contribution was to go towards feed for stock and hampers for farmers and their families. We urge you to consider making wha...tever contribution you can to assist these people who are in very challenging situations. Theres been a lot of engagement about the drought, how those affected are portrayed, the political exposure... but ABC Landline provided some balance to the debate on Sunday 12/08/2018. https://iview.abc.net.au/show/landline https://www.facebook.com/LandlineABC/?ref=br_rs The program featured growers who have learned to live with drought /climate change/climate variability/light years.. call it what you will ... and adopted management practices to ensure their businesses not only just survive, but perform well.

06.01.2022 Some winners and losers with this latest weather...mostly winners it seems. So far 2017 will go down as a challenging season in the West, with some areas completely missing out whilst others looking well above average.... lets see how it ends up in a few months time.
