16.01.2022 { YAMBA } What is it that makes a place so special?! For me it’s the feeling you get when you arrive, the smell of the bush and the salty sea air. It’s the community. The people and the energy is has. We drove into a town six years ago, pregnant with Ace. We instantly fell love with its old beach town vibe with so much character, untouched and so much surf history. A drive out too Spookys and after a random right turn we drive past a house for sale. We saw that she need...ed a paint and some love and then she was ours @the_surf_treehouse_yamba. The community is creative and down to earth, we have made life long mates and are going to be so blessed to join the community one day. I knew I needed to capture this place in our collection and wanted this one to be special. I struggle too describe how amazing this smells - the cedarwood is the earthy note and there is a sweet mystery end note that every time I burn this I feel like Im back in my special Sanctuary. 12.01.2022 { UPDATE} Most of you have followed our journey over past few months which saw our oil supplier decided suddenly not to supply us (and others) which meant we couldn’t supply our beautiful stockists prior to Xmas, they also wouldn’t help us by providing us with the recipe of our scents we own. This meant starting the process of matching our left over oils in a lab and ensuring that we can work out the % of our oils we have worked so hard on perfecting. We have just had our ...first samples of the existing scents arrive with a new supplier, so tomorrow is the first burn to make sure they are the exactly the same As we have got limited stock online from our original batch of oils - Byron, Bells and MR restock won’t happen now until end of Jan due to Xmas shutdowns. If you are needing some for Xmas or your personal stash please grab some now as I don’t want you to miss out and have to wait till Feb. We also have these stunning boxes which come with a choice of Bells or Margaret River. 05.01.2022 { TASMANIA } When I was developing the scents I knew I needed to add Tasmania into the mix. This place resonated with me having no idea what to expect. We drove around the whole island, kids free with a tent and our dog Zeus. We surfed crystal blue waters in the Bay of Isles (small waves), had the best Bloody Mary and bind blown at Mona, bottled our own whiskey, ate Oysters with champagne in the middle of no - where and marvelled at the dark and stormy of the township of St...raun on the Westside. I’ve tried to capture the darkness of this place has indented in history but also the intense beauty it also holds. inspired also by Salamanca in Hobart, I wanted to have Leather, Black Pepper and Frankincense to transport you too a old historic bar with a top notch scotch in hand, whilst taking in the beauty of this southern spot.
