25.01.2022 IN CONVERSATION This week we are in conversation with our Director of Styling, Emma Perry. Emmas career has spanned several continents and numerous creative roles, including costume work on HBOs hit fantasy drama series, Game of Thrones, to now being Styling Creative Director at This Space. When asked what her proudest moment at This Space would be, Emma answers "Transforming the underneath of a runway into a fringed ceiling chandelier for the Cure Brain Cancer... 22.01.2022 BEST CAUSE RELATED EVENT In August of 2019, This Space had the privilege to collaborate with Paralympics Australia in the production of their Infinite Possibilities Gala Event. The styling was inspired by a Japanese-Australian cultural fusion and the entertainment on the night included performances from the likes of Conrad Sewell. The peak of the event proceedings was a runway show, featuring 15 incredible Australian Paralympians modelling a wonderfully eclectic ra...nge of fashion, curated by the amazing @courtneyhumphreysstylist, making for a truly unforgettable moment and the highlight of the evening. In 2020, we were lucky enough to become a National finalist and then proceed to win the MEA Award for Best Cause Related Event. We could not be more proud of this event and we are so happy to have our work acknowledged and appreciated by MEA, and for that, we say Thank you. See more

With a career spanning two decades, numerous continents and large scale events including the Olympics, asking Jules about her proudest moment and greatest achievement was no small feat. "My proudest achievement to date was taking the leap of faith and starting out on my own 16 years ago. Also seeing team members flourish in their chosen field and knowing I have been able to ...help them get there" says Jules on her proudest personal achievement. "I love the moment when a creative concept is truly embraced by a client and seeing the look in their eyes just before doors" says Jules on creative direction "That moment makes all the hard work worth it". In an event sense, Jules explains her greatest achievements to be "safely evacuating 80 people onto an island during a hurricane, working with the International Olympic committee and asking Donald Trumps hairdresser if his hair is real"...an answer she will never tell.
