07.01.2022 I just have to share more of this incredible mumma. The next two weeks are looking pretty hectic, but in the best way, editing, another session to shoot, working my second job, amongst so much more. It feels strange to be run off my feet, I’m loving it but it’s such a contrast to the rest of my year up until now. It’s reminded of something I learnt when I became a mum to Taj, it’s so incredibly important to remember to slow down too. I’ve always been busy, there are 5 millio...n and 1 things I want to do, I want to do it all, but I truly learned when Taj arrived I don’t need to do it all at the same time. I need to create those quite moments, step out of the busyness I live in most of the time, and then order and prioritise when I am busy, not to mention ask for help or say no. It’s such a big lesson to be able to say no or ask for help, we can’t live our best life if we aren’t looking after ourselves right?! Something about being needed by your babes just forces you to find slowness, and learn to enjoy it too, there’s such power in going slow, power in embracing your present. So in two weeks I’m going to create the slowness I need to recharge, but between now and then, I’ll get plenty of sleep, good food, yoga, and meditation.
