19.01.2022 Before you tap a keg when you remove the plastic cap, dust cover always check the top of the keg for any leakage or mould, as I came across this the other day when I was doing a job.

19.01.2022 #biofilm makes all shapes and sizes... and is very good and building a habitat within beer lines. During the brewing process, beer is made, stored and transport...ed in stainless steel. When it arrives at the pub it is connected to pourous beer lines. The #pourous nature of the beer lines allows for great connectivity for biofilm to thrive. Biofilm can resist being ejected with traditional cleaners and extending line clean cycles (without CellarControl) allows the colonies to grow, strengthen and further resist. However the advanced multi-enzymatic cleaner of #maxienzyme is able to cleave under and cut the biofilm into small pieces, making it easy to flush out. This video is taken from a new client that has been cleaning fortnightly with a caustic cleaner. This is the first clean with Maxi-Enzyme. This is in the flushing process, the chemical had rested for an hour, we're flushing the lines clear, the glass is full of water and clearly carrying pieces of biofilm.
