Reposted @alchemyconstruct THE ROYAL MELBOURNE ICU We were honoured to recently complete the full fit-out of Pod D at The Royal Melbourne Hospitals Intensive Care Unit. ... The works took place within the live ICU environment so critical clinical management and co-ordination was paramount. This included dust and noise control, and specialist delivery of services. RMH provides a state-of-the art Intensive Care Unit which is part of the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre (VCCC) project. With the new units (Pod D) successfully delivered by Alchemy Construct, it is one of the biggest Intensive Care Units in Australia. Stage one of the project will involve the establishment of a new CT Machine... suite and the intricate relocation of the existing CT machine, with Stage two comprised of the refurbishment of the existing CT area to house a new MRI machine. Reposted @alchemyconstruct A first for Victoria, Alchemy recently installed portable CSSD units whilst works were being completed at Northpark Private Hospital. The units were brought in to make sure that the department could continue its work as construction progressed.... The newly developed space is now complete. In order to align with Australian Sterilisation Standards, the Alchemy team worked closely with The Central Sterile Services Department at Northpark Private to build a brand new and upgraded CSSD space. The CSSD upgrade includes several sterilising rooms, with many new specialist machinery to meet the full compliance criteria.
