19.01.2022 Changes to the low and middle income tax offset announced in Budget 201920 are now law. The amount of offset you may be entitled to, and the amount of any refu...nd, will differ for everyone depending on individual circumstances such as income level and how much tax you paid throughout the year. We’ll automatically take into account any offset you’re entitled to in your tax return, even if you've already lodged. You won’t need to contact us. Refunds for tax returns already lodged are expected to start issuing towards the end of next week and into the following week, which is in line with the normal processing of refunds for this time of year. 06.01.2022 Hello to all our followers, clients and friends. I am pleased to announce that earlier this year, I merged my practice with Trekk Advisory. With today’s environment of ever-changing tax regulations, software requirements, and so on, I felt it was time to associate with the right partners and staff to continue to produce the quality work and services we have taken pride in delivering for the last 14 years. After interviewing many firms and practitioners, I decided to affiliat...e with Trekk Advisory and their team, who are experts in the modern tax laws and accounting technology, and shall enable us to specialise and offer you additional services while operating under the same fee structure as the past. Peter Tuppurainen and Eryan Haddon are the directors of Trekk Advisory, who you will come to know over the next few months. Both Peter and Eryan are qualified Chartered Accountants and bring a combined experience of over 30 years to the table. Both are specialised in taxation and business services and are backed by a team with outstanding knowledge and skills in these, and other fields. I will continue to work with Trekk over the coming months to ensure this transition is as seamless as possible. However, I will be relocating to Brisbane to pursue other personal and professional goals. Chantelle will continue her employment with Trekk and is looking forward to her continued relationship with you. Eryan, Peter and the team at Trekk are committed to providing you with ongoing accounting, tax, and business advisory and are excited to be working with you moving forward. While the team is currently working mainly from home due to COVID-19 concerns I would like to advise that upon re-opening our doors we will be operating from two offices, being my usual address at Level 1, 29 Thuringowa Drive in Kirwan and also at Northtown the City Shopping Mall (across from Cowboys Leagues Club). This office is located upstairs, and just past the library (exact address is 1-280 Flinders Street). You can still contact us at (07) 4773 7555 throughout normal business hours. We thank you sincerely for your business in the past and we are all committed to ensuring a smooth transition for you. Thank you https://trekkadvisory.life/
