25.01.2022 And now, a few shots from Friday's wedding at Centennial Vineyards. I challenge anyone who was against Australia's (embarrassingly late) movement towards marriage equality to attend a wedding like this and not feel joy in their hearts at the relationship being celebrated; it was pretty incredible to watch. Yianni and Stefano met at the local bowlo, and ten years later were finally married. Gentlemen, thank you for having me along

25.01.2022 More winter engagement sessions please Or maybe I should just call them 'couples sessions' because you totally don't have to be engaged to book a session like this

20.01.2022 Ugggh. Sunset at the Bendooley Estate Stables is out of control. Here are a few frames from my 2nd wedding last Sunday. Val and Brad were keen for everything: we hiked through long grass, dodged land mines left for us by the cows. They even volunteered to lie down in the grass for a drone shot. Thanks for having me guys!!

19.01.2022 Mali Brae Farm is amazing and I want to shoot there more often. That is all. Here are a few shots from Chloe + Josh's wedding last weekend :)

19.01.2022 Morgan + Dave's springtime wedding at Bendooley Estate was pretty awesome. Few shots below, I'm loving those spring blossoms

18.01.2022 Jess + Christian at Bendooley Estate last Sunday. An awesome arvo in perfect springtime sunlight. One of my favourite parts about shooting at Bendooley: arriving at the reception and eating the food, omg it's so good.....

16.01.2022 It's hard to manage two different social media platforms (Insta and Facebook). I post lots more to insta, so if you don't, pls come follow me there @thomstewart. I don't want to just let insta cross-post to facebook cos I feel it's lazy I do come over here to Facebook to share a shot here and there. Here's one from yesterday's intimate airbnb wedding in the bushland outside Kangaroo Valley. This was a 'group photo' of sorts; I grabbed the mic and asked all the guests to stand and cheers the person across the table from them. I also asked Danielle and Marco to stay seated and snuggle up. I put a single flash behind them for some back-light, and here's the result :D

15.01.2022 It was so great to be back shooting yesterday! I guess you could call this my first 'normal' size wedding since late March, and since our original lockdown. I've shot a few lovely smaller weddings over the last few months but in many ways yesterday felt 'normal', apart from obvious social distancing. As per usual the sunset light at the Stables was off the hook

14.01.2022 On the weekend I had two engagement shoots. The first was this one below, with Andrea and Keith. I took them to a really cool spot on the coast that I'd wanted to shoot at for ages. I talked it up, told them how epic it was. What I didn't tell them is that I'd actually never been there. So, we turned up to this particular spot and discovered... that the tide was in, and we couldn't even access it So we ended up making some last minute location changes. I'm kinda glad my original spot didn't work out as we eventually stumbled on the scenes you see below, which we totally wouldn't have used otherwise! Also: HOW COOL IS ANDREA'S DRESS!

09.01.2022 For my second engagement shoot for with the weekend, I took Alex + Byron to a secret forest I know in one of the villages in the Southern Highlands. It's a gated forest, but the gate is aways open so I've never had issues getting in. This time, we arrived and there signs everywhere: 'no entry', 'logging in process' etc. Damn, I thought. After waiting a few minutes, one of the guys working in their drove out through the gate. I told him we were there for a shoot and really wanted to shoot in the forest. 'No worries, I'll leave the gate unlocked for you' he replied. Awesome!

09.01.2022 I just blogged! Alex + Sean's wedding at Centennial Vineyards from earlier this year Check it out here: https://www.thomasstewart.com.au/centennial-vineyards-rest/ Sue Jackman - Celebrant... Centennial Vineyards See more

08.01.2022 A few frames from Lucinda + Aaron's Centennial Vineyards wedding last weekend. More frames on my insta @thomstewart

07.01.2022 I post daily to my instagram @thomstewart (come follow me there!) But I'm sooo bad at posting to Facebook frequently. So, here is one image from all of my November weddings :)

06.01.2022 A few shots from Friday's intimate elopement in Kangaroo Valley. This was also the first time in a few years that I've taken a couple back to my secret portrait location, an abandoned vintage bus in the middle of the forest I'll post a heap more on insta, come and follow me @thomstewart

05.01.2022 Before their elopement yesterday, Jen told me that she and Michael would pretty much do whatever I asked if it lead to great photos. So I made them lie down amongst some ferns in this enchanted forest, then I put the drone up #bowralweddingphotographer #southernhighlandsweddingphotographer

04.01.2022 High in the clouds on a starry night with Kate + Sam at The Old Coach Stables

01.01.2022 Honestly, I post to insta every morning without fail, but I keep forgetting to post photos here on FB Here's the first of my two weddings last weekend. This was my first time at Merribee and hopefully it won't be my last. Check out that candle-lit nighttime reception under the trees! This place gives me some wonderful Tuscan vibes oh and you should go and follow me on insta @thomstewart because I'm way less forgetful over there x
