25.01.2022 The exciting thing about design is that your style is always evolving. New experiences broaden your horizon, and this has very much been the case for me since I started a cabinet-making apprenticeship 10 months ago. I am now exploring ways to combine mid-century aesthetics with modern materials and hardware, and have just completed two sideboards in the minimalist style that is so close to my heart. They are available in a range of different timber veneers, with customisabl...e layouts and sizes. And - because of the new techniques I have been learning - I can provide these quality pieces at a competitive rate. What do you think? Tom :)

22.01.2022 Experimenting with Shou-sugi-ban, an age old Japanese technique of scorching timber. The process forms a carbon layer on the surface of the board which aids in protecting it, whilst creating a unique visual aesthetic.
