25.01.2022 Tonight the Thomastown community is mourning the loss of one of the great Thomastown people and foundation members of our club in Ces Bradford. From everyone at the Thomastown FNC, we would like to pass on our condolences to the Bradford family. We are all thinking of you at this difficult time. We will all miss having Ces around the club, wearing his brown and gold colours and supporting the boys.

Spending the last 2 seasons as Eppings Number 1 Ruckman, finishing 3rd in their best and fairest in 2018 and 8th overall in the league best and fairest in the same year. 18.01.2022 ***A DOUBLE X-PRO ANNOUCEMENT*** It is with great excitement that we welcome two fantastic people to our club in Tyrone Leonardis and Michael Tang. Both have come to us straight from North Melbourne's VFL side and will play for Thomastown full time in 2021.... LEONARDIS hailed from the Northern Knights system and was drafted by the Sydney Swans in 2015, he remaind on their list until 2017. In 2018 he joined North Melbourne's VFL side and was one of their core players up until this season came to an end due to COVID. Leonardis is an A grade user of the footy, he plays midfield as well as various other positions and has a deadly left foot. He has a passion for learning and teaching the game and is looking forward to helping mentor the next generation of TFNC players. TANG came from the Calder Cannons system and played at various VFL sides, which includes Coburg, Port Melbourne and most recently North Melbourne. But one of the highlights of his career was winning a flag with North Launceston in the Tasmanian state league in 2018. Standing at 190cm he is a versatile player with elite endurance, which means not only can he play midfield but he can also hold down a key defensive role if required. Tang's passion is being a Multicultural Ambassador for the AFL and bringing everyone together for the love of sport. A key ingredient to getting him across to Thomastown. From everyone here at the Thomastown Football Netball Club, we would like to welcome both Tyrone, Michael and their families to our club. 08.01.2022 For anyone wanting to attend the funeral of Cec Bradford, unfortuently due to covid restrictions and limits on numbers it is an invite only service. Although once the football season commences the club will hold an in memorial event to celebrate the life of Cec Bradford, where we can all share the fond memories we have of him. Dates and details to be confirmed at a later stage. And finally for anyone wanting to have a beer with a few of Cec's mates, the cricket club will have the bar open from 3pm onwards this Friday.
