21.01.2022 We’re back baby!!!!! Training schedule listed below. New players welcome. Training Update... As the government restrictions ease we are able to get back to community sport from 28 November in groups of 11 people. Training will look a little different and we can all work together to make it work. The following Covid protocols will apply to training sessions. Limited to groups of 11 and a coach Covid officer assigned Please wear a mask before and after training Limit sharing of balls No sweat or saliva on the ball Social distancing of 1.5 meters The training schedule will as follows. Sunday 1st November- 9:30am Leslie street Thomastown Tuesday 3rd November (Melbourne Cup Day) 9:30am- Leslie street Thomastown Thursday 5th November 5:30pm- Leslie Street Thomastown Sunday 8th November 10:00am start-practice match Vs Mernda (2 games) @ Leslie Street Thomastown Tuesday 10th November 5:30pm Leslie street Thomastown Thursday 12th November 5:30pm Leslie street Thomastown Saturday 14th November ROUND 1 (All grades) I look forward to the season starting and catching up with everyone very soon. 13.01.2022 Recruitment News Hi Everyone, As Gav mentioned yesterday we have been working hard behind the scenes to recruit players to play for our great club.... I’m more than happy to announce that Matt Del Mastro has signed with us on a playing Assistant Coach basis to work along side Soly and Craig. Matt brings a wealth of experience and leadership with him from Old Paradians as a former A grade captain, premiership player and a few stints on the committee there. On behalf of everyone I would like to welcome Matt to the club and wish him all the best for the upcoming season. I know he can’t wait to get cracking and either can we! 01.01.2022 500 for Fuzz! Tomorrow the little man plays his 500th senior game for our magnificent club. Glenn ‘Fuzz’ Kernaghan joined the club all the way back in the season of 1976-77 and hasn’t looked back since. Fuzz has been the heart and soul of our club both on and off field captaining sides and serving in many stints in various roles across senior and junior committees. ... He has made over 4500 runs, over 500 catches with the gloves, 61 stumpings and even a few wickets bowling his left arm slowies. Just a few premierships to go with all these too To honour this historic effort please join us tomorrow night (7:30 @ TUCC) to celebrate Fuzz and his 500 games over a few beers and stories from a few of his good mates.
