19.01.2022 ATTENTION: Additional information for this weekend JC KART OUTBACK TITLES. 1. All CARS to be parked in paddock. See image. NO TRAILERS inside the white fence pl...ease. Drop your trailer off, move your car to the paddock. 2. Please respect the disabled car park near canteen. 3. Please use the YELLOW pit bay markings to pit with your kart. 4. All karts will be weighed after 10min qualy session. Our scales are not perfect, but they do work. Please don't be 5kg under weight and blame the scales! 5. This is a REVERSE direction race meet. We will run the normal race format but in REVERSE track direction. All practice MUST be in REVERSE (straight out the pit gate). If everyone follows the above parking instructions, we will have plenty of room for everyone. There are no reserved pit bays. First in, best dressed! Canteen open SUNDAY. EFTPOS available. If you are camping, its cold in Dalby at night but new gas shower is warm and there are two open fire places, with firewood. Track is OPEN all day Saturday, and into the night under lights for practice, if anyone want's to brace the cold. Enjoy!

19.01.2022 Round two of The noise summer series @ dalby kart club was run on the weekend ! A fabulous day/night of karting at one of the few facilities in the country with... lights ! 74 karters have contested the two rounds of of the noisy summer series so far in what has proved a big winner with country karters ! The First thing to point out is that even though Kev the noise Davies was aboard a weapon of a tag open kart in the ladies race prepared by his thompson kart supplies race team ! He still couldnt get the win, coming home second by a few thousandths of a second to the factory 22 kart of Julie Andrews ! In a post race interview crew chief to the noise ( Michael thompson) said hes sacked lol Thanks to all my sponsors : video pro for making me look fast , hungry jacks for the nice burger and coffee club for the nice latte lol Onto the racing proper: comer B Buddy the rockstar Lowery has jumped into a 33 point lead over Lucas welke then just 13 points seperate the next 4 drivers battling for third in the series ! Aston whitbred leads the chase just ahead of Christian coonan, followed by Freddy junior shepherd who is just a point ahead of Charlie theobold . comer A Lachlan Hudson has a slender of 23 points over young Daniel betts with Harrison Gilbert trailing behind in third having missed round 2 juniors : Lucas bliesner leads Abby McDonald By 37 points going into third and final round but its below them where it gets tight ! Just two points seperate Stephanie dyke & Alex Casey and they are only 13 points behind McDonald, just behind the chasing pack is Lilly shepherd on 128 points ! Teenagers The teenagers are giving us a cracker series so far and Kyle Knox, Thomas bradley & Jackson whenham were having a great battle whilst Hollie Evans tried to stay with the flying front three, if it wasnt for a dnf in heat 2 of round 1 nick Zimmerman would still be right up there on points but he is now 20 points behind Isaac bliesner who in turn is 12 points behind Bailey leeson ! But this one is all to play for still !! 4 strokes The 4 strokes once again didnt let us down one of the pre race favourites rob Carroll unfortunately had an excursion into the tyres leaving the kart sidelined for the rest of the night. That left craig taylor to fight out the podium spot with the super quick tony Dobson, craig now has a big lead on the series with tony assuming second on points and ken coonan has a good round jumping into third in the series chasing a trophy ! A good haul of points for Jason symes sees him jump into 5th just behind rob Carroll in 4th. Clubman light Craig taylor is once again absolutely unstoppable in this one he has a 100% record and no one looks like like catching him yet, Julie Andrews is still holding second in the series even with a couple of dnfs, the chasing pack now includes tom Darlington , Nathan winning, chris Gilbert, liam hinschen and wayne Gilby. Its certainly hitting up for the podium positions !!! Open performance Currently leading the points is young Elliot thompson but after winning round 2 the in form terry graham is now only 21 points behind ! Chasing hard in third is another in form youngster james Evans ! Behind james; Graham hardy & wes whitbred are on the hunt ! Clubman heavy It couldnt get much closer at the top in this one and our favourite pie eaters have absolutely lit up the yumborra raceway track! Every race has been excitement to the last corner of the last lap and Joshua betts ( Prince Albert) takes a very slender 4 point lead into the final round in a months time!! Showbag ( scott Hudson) now looks comfortable in third !!! Hoping for a Miracle so that they can get on the podium are fast Freddy shepherd & el-presidentee tim bliesner !! All because you gave your child a go kart. Your weekends will be spent freezing or burning to death on a fold up chair. And their weekends will be spent gaining confidence and friends, learning new skills and having fun and getting out there. You will be there the day he or she makes there first holeshot , first podium, first win. And they will make you SO proud. Other parents will congratulate you, but you feel weird saying thank you because it's not you on the track, it’s your child. It's everything that they did, they achieved. And right before your eyes, your little boy/girl will be transformed from the baby who spun around on their junior kart into an expert. The competition is looking good, with increased numbe...rs in our local Juniors and Teenagers class for this event. Some top notch drivers coming to our local track for a crack at the concrete.
