16.01.2022 For anyone that hasn’t heard the news yet, the PM announced last night that all tattoo parlours are to be closed by midnight tonight to help stop the spread of COVID-19 and will be closed indefinitely. Miranda has contacted all of her clients with bookings so check that inbox! We would like to thank every single person that has been tattooed, liked our posts and brought our merch since our opening and we assure you, we will be back bigger and better than ever after the break! Even though we are closed, you can still support us by buying our art which Miranda will be posting more details over the next week. 14.01.2022 J E S S @jessica_mmichelle_tattoo I feel so honoured at over the last 6.5years I have had so many wonderful people enter my life through tattooing and I've been able to make such wonderful pieces of art for you all and connect with some individuals in such unique ways, but the time has come for me to take a break from tattooing in 2021. ... Over the last few years my passion for tattooing has been slowly fading, and with that my passion for creating for myself has suffered also. I will be taking this break to create for myself in as many ways as I can and explore my art further. I don't know if this break will be permanent or not, so if you have existing work that needs to be finished please contact me as soon as possible to book in as I only have appointments left in November and December at this stage. To avoid all of those bookings being taken up super quick, I will only be taking on new peices that I really want to do and finishing off existing work. If your enquiry doesn't meet this criteria I will give you a recommendation to another tattoo artist who is best suited to your enquiry, so please feel free to send your idea through and I can let you know! I want to say a massive thank you to Miranda for being the best colleague and friend I could ask for over the last 5years Ive been tattooing in Rockhampton, and to Chloe for joining our little family, you are already killing it and I can't wait to see how far you go! As you may have heard, the government is starting to ease restrictions and have advised that we will be able to reopen at the start of June We will start taking bookings and let everyone know the special conditions (artist new part time working hours, health and safety procedures etc), regarding our reopening closer to the start of June in case they have to push the date back further as it is subject to change. Candidate must have at least 2-3 years tattooing experience (this is NOT a tattoo apprentice opportunity), and have a clear, well developed/developing tattoo style (black and grey realism or Neo traditional preferred). Must also hold or willing to obtain, a QLD Tattoo Artist Licence and also have completed their ‘HLTIN402C’ cert in Infection control. 01.01.2022 Hi everyone! As of today, the government has eased restrictions early and we are able to reopen our doors! Unfortunately this came with no warning, so we have decided to reopen on Monday 15th June as we had planned. This will give us plenty of time to firstly; rebook clients that had to be canceled (Miranda will be in contact with you over the next couple of days to reschedule for when we reopen), get the studio and new health and safety procedures in place inline with gove...rnment guidelines ready, start taking new bookings (this will happen after clients that were canceled are rebooked), and give our artists time to get back into the rhythm of being back at work!
