25.01.2022 34 residents enjoyed lunch, drinks and many laughs at The Range Restaurant, Mt Compass Golf Course on Wednesday. Just one of the many activities enjoyed by Thornbury Park Retirees. Today was singles lunch at the Fleurieu Function Centre, tomorrow BBQ, nibbles and drinks watching the Grand Final on the big screen. Sunday Movie Afternoon is A Star Is Born. Proud Mary Cruises are putting on a morning tea and some great holiday prices for us on the 9th October before Dressed for ...Success and Giftware join us for a shopping experience on the 10th. Our Open Garden is shortly after these functions and then its time to let you hair down and enjoy 'A Day at the Races' for Melbourne Cup. Sweeps, parades, on course 'shady' bookie (play money of course) all day smorgasbord, fashions on the field and the odd glass of sparkles. Once you are over the 'hang over' our combined in house bands are striking a few notes for the Cabaret in November. Stay tuned for our busy December calendar! Don't want to miss out on the fun? Call us or call in and view our beautiful units. A three bedroom and a two bedroom are currently available. Be quick, being the Best Retirement Village in Goolwa means we sell out fast. See more

24.01.2022 OPEN DAY FRIDAY 29TH NOVEMBER 2019 12noon to 2pm. Enjoy an afternoon at Thornbury Park and view two and three bedroom units we currently have for sale. Afternoon tea is available with residents. Look forward to seeing you Friday.

23.01.2022 Whilst we have 'battened down the hatches' here at Thornbury Park and reduced our visitors to ensure everyone's safety, spirits have been kept up with puzzle pages, jokes and fish and chip lunches delivered to the door. We have groceries being delivered weekly with plenty of stock for residents to purchase. Our front board was a little blank due to cancellation of outings so we have replaced them with 'Morning Giggles'. THEY SAID A MASK AND GLOVES WERE ENOUGH TO GO TO THE GROCERY STORE. THEY LIED........EVERYBODY ELSE HAD CLOTHES ON.

18.01.2022 It is a busy month at Thornbury and we welcome two new residents to their new homes. We have two three bedroom units available shortly. Both are being internally renovated so if you are looking to buy new and would like to choose colours, tiles etc don't hesitate to call in and view these beautiful units. A two bedroom will also be available shortly so register your interest now. We are available Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm or weekends by appointment. The sun is out so come and enjoy a relaxing day, and a cuppa with us, in the seaside port of Goolwa.

14.01.2022 Our Maintenance Manager recently celebrated a special birthday and in true Thornbury style we couldn't let an occasion go past without a celebration. Besides being the best Maintenance Manager possible he is always kind, caring and smiling. Happy Birthday Roland. We hope we can all celebrate many more with you.

13.01.2022 Happy weekend everyone from us happy folk at Thornbury

13.01.2022 Such social people we are here at Thornbury Park. Recently we showcased our beautiful gardens with an Open Garden Day. Gold coin donation and devonshire tea included. The Lions Club of Goolwa catered for lunch and we are definitely going to make this bigger and better next year. Many ladies knitted and crocheted flowers, mushrooms, birds and snails for a town display and we were fortunate to have them in our garden for the day. Don't forget you can visit any time and enjoy our gardens. Please phone if you would like to view our lovely units. We always have the kettle on.

05.01.2022 Melbourne Cup Day was a huge success when Thornbury Park Racing Club put on a 'Day at the Races'. Why enjoy one race when you can enjoy 10? Our on course bookies were happy to take everyone's 'play' money but the sweeps were real! Fashions on the field were fun events and many punters will be returning again next year to have a go at beating the bookies.

04.01.2022 Not being able to share Anzac day with mates this year proved to be difficult for many of Thornbury Parks veterans. Four residents came together at 6.30am to raise and lower the flag to half-mast, sound the Last Post and 94 year old war veteran, Charlie read the Ode. Special thanks to each of you for reminding us 'There is no greater love than to lay down one's life for one's friends.'

03.01.2022 Thank you Wendy and big thank you for the decorations and help setting up. So glad you had a great time.
