18.01.2022 LE COTCHIN PAVILION UPGRADES Hi Everyone, Hope you’re well and Keeping Safe.... Some good news amongst all this Covid 19 lockdown. It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that we announce the completion of the pavilion upgrades at LE Cotchin Reserve. The fresh upgrades have added a NEW dimension for the Club and potential for growth. The Scope of Works included: female friendly change rooms and amenities to help us with the introduction of female teams and coaches for 2021. Home and Away changerooms. New Showers, Toilets, Cubicles vanities and floor coverings. An upgrade of the kitchen / lounge has added functionality and life to an area that was locked in a time warp. (Now we can purchase a NEW coffee machine and dispose of that relic). A new bike storage area, new public toilets, new security lighting around the building and a new playground area for the kids. It has been a 2-year collaboration with Darebin City Council’s three diverse departments; Leisure Services, Facilities and Capital Works. Three fundamental teams working together to deliver on projects for Sporting Clubs and the wider Darebin Community. The TAFC Committee would like to thank them all, but especially like to thank Kathie Duncan (Team Leader Leisure Services Recreation & Libraries) for her enthusiasm, vision, and ongoing support. Also, Darebin's Project Manager for doing a great job and meeting all expectations. IF the stars line up we may get new LED lighting upgrades for the oval..You never know. Enjoy the before and after shots. Keep safe and look out for one another.
