22.01.2022 These adorable 4 week old kittens were found abandoned at Thorndon Park last week. Fortunately a visitor to the park found them and took them to the Newton Veterinary Centre, where they are now being cared for and are doing well. Once the kittens are around 10 weeks old, the vet, together with Paws & Claws Adoptions, will be looking for 'furever homes' for these little cuties. If you would like to adopt one of these kittens, please contact Newton Veterinary Centre on 8365 5010.

10.01.2022 The SA Rogaining Association will be holding an event at Thorndon Park this Saturday between 11am and 9pm. Rogaining is an orienteering sport of cross-country navigation, involving both route planning and navigation between checkpoints using a variety of map types. 04.01.2022 Some exciting changes are coming to Thorndon Park! Campbelltown City Council (SA) a significant winner in the SA State Government Local Government Infrastructure Partnership Program. $1.25 million was awarded to Council towards the costs of the Thorndon Park Super Playground.

An amazing group of runners are preparing to commence the Ultra Runners South Australia Adelaide 6 Day 2019 this morning, a grueling 6 day run around our beautiful park. 72 hour runners will also commence on Wednesday and 48 hour runners on Thursday. The park is still available for public use as usual. If youre planning a visit, make sure you give the runne...rs an encouraging cheer!
