25.01.2022 UPDATE: Adopted **AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION** This beauty is an 8 week old female domestic shorthair. She was found locally in a drain all by her lonesome and was quite scruffy and flea-ridden. However she's now the picture of healthy and gradually warming up to cuddles. She's still fairly timid so would suit a quiet household and preferably an indoor only setup as being all white she's high risk of skin cancers. Please share to help her find a home or call us if you're interested in adopting. #kuringgaipound #adoptdontshop #catrescue #kittenrescue

Please share to help us find him a home and let us know if you'd be interested in adopting this gentle boy. Adoption $180 including initial startup fly strike treatment, vaccinations and preventatives to point of sale. #kuringgaipound #adoptdontshop #germanshepherd

18.01.2022 TIPS FOR PROTECTING YOUR CHRISTMAS TREE FROM YOUR CAT! 1) Let it go all natural for a few days. Start with putting the tree up with no decorations so it's not that interesting to them. 2) Place double-sided tape or foil around the base of the tree as they'll avoid these. 3) Make sure the tree is secure and can't be toppled by a curious climber! Tether it to the wall or place weights at the bottom. 4) Unplug xmas lights when you aren't home or are asleep so that if they chew t...hrough the cord they don't cause injury. 5) Avoid tinsel as this is a common cause of intestinal blockages in cats 6) Go for plastic baubles! You don't want your precious glass ones knocked off! 7) Distract your cat! Give them their own new toy/box/tree to play with so they don't go for yours! 8) Use baby gates. It might be worth cordoning it off particularly when you aren't supervising. Tell us your tips and how you keep your tree safe! #christmaswithcats #cattips

02.01.2022 *** TICK ALERT *** Please make sure your pets are on tick prevention products! We are seeing an unusually large number of tick paralysis cases this season and it is a life threatening emergency. Most of the cases are from the bushier areas surrounding us i.e. Wahroonga or Westleigh but please be vigilant. Check your pet for ticks daily and if they are wobbly, retching, coughing, breathing differently or have a change in meow/bark please bring them up. #tickparalysis #paralysistick
