21.01.2022 The Somerset Eisteddfod is taking solo entries online with a video. So excited for our All Star Performers who can still enter if under 13years. Parkwood/Arundel community centre classes will be back face to face Monday 15th June. Week 9 of school. Cant wait to rehearse our plays and poems with each other! Highland reserve SS classes will hopefully return week 9 as well. I am confirming a new location for a couple of weeks until the school has their restrictions lifted from ...the government. You will know this Wednesday. Soon we can all be dramatic again together! Keep learning your lines so you are ready to rehearse when we return! So excited Miss B x

20.01.2022 Somerset information for All star performers parents; We were thrilled to be able to provide these unique performance opportunities for our many young performers. They have shown how eager they are to showcase their talents with their music, speech, drama and dance. Importantly we received over 700 entries from around Australia and overseas! All of your submissions are currently being reviewed by our adjudicators. It is our aim to have your adjudicator's comments and certific...ates returned to you within the next two weeks. Thank you again for your support and we look forward to having you be a part of next year's festival.

20.01.2022 Cant wait for week 2 at TYDA! Full dress rehearsal, dont forget to wear your blacks ( tshirt and tights or shorts). In a few weeks we will perform our plays for our parents! 15.01.2022 Thanks to all the families that bring their beautiful children to our holiday workshops! We have finished the Dr.Suess performance with a bang! They were great and the teachers really enjoyed having fun with the children! So busy not many photos.

13.01.2022 *Updated Class information!* I have just had confirmation we will be back to face to face classes at both locations in Week 9 and 10 of school. The first Monday is 15th June. Im so excited! We will have a few new rules to follow, but if we work together we can achieve a safe TYDA. Cant wait to be Dramatic again!!... Miss B

13.01.2022 * Last chance to join up with tyda for term 2. I would love you to be part of our online learning platform. * TYDA is going ONLINE!! Term 2 I will be sending emails on Monday of each week with the weekly lesson. There will be 5 weeks of 1 hour lessons. ... We can continue our term in a different format. * new students are encouraged to enquire! * As we are learning plays and poems in different classes, we can aim for the end of term to produce a play or little show! If not we can do into the next term. I cant wait to start this new journey with you! Please let me know if you would like to participate in Term 2 TYDA online by email. At TYDA we will produce theatre pieces and the students can have some fun, when things are a little boring. I will continue to deliver quality skills based and performance based classes. 11.01.2022 Our second day at our holiday workshop and we finished with a great rehearsal! It always amazes me how much they accomplish in such little time. See you at 2.30pm tomorrow for the performance. Only 1 person per child please. Covid restrictions should be lifted by the next workshop!

10.01.2022 What a fun performance this afternoon! The students were awesome , after many hurdles to get to today. Thanks to all my wonderful students, the new ones and the ones that stood in for others. And those who took on extra roles in 2 weeks! Amazing!

08.01.2022 Hi tyda family, Highland reserve school would prefer I didnt have classes this afternoon due to the present and forecasted weather events. I am concerned that people will have problems getting there or getting home due to road closures with localised flooding.... Therefore I am cancelling classes this afternoon. 06.01.2022 Attention Tyda families In this time of uncertainty, I am cancelling classes as of now. I dont believe we should be at school or my academy at the moment. Look after yourselves and I will be in contact soon I was hoping to give scripts out this week for students to learn next term at home. I will email them next week.... I will be in contact soon, we will help each other through this. If any of my tyda families need anything ( even toilet paper) Ill try and help. Stay positive with the children. Tell them I miss teaching them already, it is with great sadness i stop classes. But I will be back, more dramatic than ever!! Miss B
