24.01.2022 Please welcome Leonie Francois to Ramlegh Park Primary school. I am so excited to join our new school community as the Art teacher at Ramlegh Park! I started teaching 22 years ago and also have a background in student wellbeing and I am very passionate about making a positive difference to the mental health of young people. I believe that we all have different types of intelligence and different strengths, and I am very excited to support our students to develop their creative skills and unique talents in our art room. I am also a very proud mum of 2 teenage boys and I love taking my dog for long walks, sewing, playing the piano, listening to music, dancing, photography and cooking up a storm! I can't wait to meet you all, so please pop past the art room in 2021 to say hello.

I am passionate about helping students grow and develop as learners both inside and outside the classroom. I am an active role model; I love playing soccer, walking to the beach and riding my bike, and look forward to promoting an enjoyment of physical activities for all students. I also have a passion for Outdoor Education and hope to inspire students to explore and connect with the world around us."

The down pour didn't dampen the joyous spirits of over 450 students alongside teachers and support staff at ...the official opening yesterday. You can hear it in the video in the comments! An absolute delight to also join with Education Minister James Merlino and Principal Linda Corcoran for a tour led by yr 5 student leaders to meet the preppies, teachers and check out this beautifully designed school, classrooms and grounds. Architects DesignInc and builders Kane Constructions have excelled! This is one of 14 schools and campuses opening this year, as part of our commitment to build 100 by 2026. 11.01.2022 Good Afternoon Ramlegh Park PS Families, Next week on Wednesday the 10th of February, Ramlegh Park PS will be hosting our Parent/Teacher Interviews. Bookings are made via the Compass App.... This will be for Years 1 to 6 only, not Preps. Prep parents will have the opportunity to meet with their child's teacher on their booked assessment dates. If you have forgotten when yours is, please don't hesitate to call school reception. Also, for those who are having trouble accessing or navigating your Compass Portal our Business Manager JD has kindly offered to be available from 3 pm to 4 pm in the School Library on Thursday the 4th of February to assist you and answer any questions you may have.

Writing is my favourite thing to teach, but I enjoy all other subjects too. I like to incorporate projects into my classroom, as well as art and craft activities and sometimes even cooking. I have been teaching at Mossgiel Park PS since 2006 and am looking forward to the change and new adventure ahead. I enjoy travel and spent two years living and teaching in London, where I learnt a lot and saw many amazing countries! I have a strong passion for teaching literacy and love a good picture story book - we are never too old to enjoy picture books! I am very excited to have been given the opportunity to join Linda at our school as Business Manager and even more excited to be apart of the community in Clyde North. I have been with Dept of Education for 5 years and have a strong corporate and finance background.
