06.01.2022 The board for 2019 2020 was elected at the Annual General Meeting held on 10th May 2019. Eight previous directors stood for re-election. Following the resignation of two board directors, Mike Bailey and Annelise Taylor, two positions were declared vacant for which there was one nomination from Jane Easthope. All directors were elected unopposed. We welcome Jane to the board and thank Mike and Annelise for their valued contribution to the running of the club. ... Director roles were determined at the board meeting held Monday 20th May 2019. Frank Walker stepped down as Chairman, having served in that role for the past three years. We thank Frank for his dedication to the role in what has proved to be a very productive term. Sue Bishop was elected as Chairman unopposed. 01.01.2022 AGM Postponed due to COVID-19 The AGM and dinner that was scheduled for 15 May 2020 will not go ahead as planned due to the current restrictions on movement and public gathering relating to the COVID-19 outbreak. It has been decided for now that rather than substituting the in-person AGM with a hybrid or virtual meeting on the planned date, the AGM will be delayed. ASIC is currently allowing companies to defer their AGM for up to two months, so at this stage we have until 31 July to hold the meeting - preferably in-person if rules will allow.
