18.01.2022 Outrageous! They're at it again... cutting what they don't understand. So much for the 'innovation nation'... This is absolutely outrageously small minded! The creative industries (which obviously includes entertainment, advertising, music etc, etc) is one of the highest earning and largest employers on the planet. Not to mention how important creative minds are to the general population, whether the GP realise it or not. It takes creative thinkers to ask the questions that help solve world problems. 14.01.2022 If you happen to be down Toorak way, the annual sculpture exhibition is on. There are 99 sculptures in shop windows and on the footpath. Seven of the footpath ones are permanent. My " Moonbabies" sculpture is number 9, and it's in C.Wallis & Son, Amcal Chemist, 426 Toorak Road in Toorak Village. The exhibition is on until 12th June, 2016. You can also see the sculptures at www.toorakvillage.com.au then type in sculpture in the search area. Next, click on 2016 sculptures. 11.01.2022 This is my 'Sushi shipwreck (with cracked buoy prawn crackers)' made from washed up 'stuff' on Portland's beaches. Millions of kilos of tuna is consumed worldw...ide EVERY SINGLE DAY putting significant strain on a single species in our ecosystem. Added to that is the effect of the single use plastic packaging it is served in, and then thrown away ending up in our environment. Exhibition now open at Wishart Gallery in Port Fairy as part of the Carmel Wallace's 'Beached Verandah' residency project... . If we use less, there will be less to throw away! See more

06.01.2022 We live in a world where nature competes for habitat with the man-made. Beauty fights with necessity, and there is a constant battle between want vs need. Ali Griffin's works are tender and thought provoking, and, if we let them, will remind of the possibilities, both positive and negative, and asks what needs to change for us to value what we already have? We hope you can make it to the opening of her next exhibition at Incinerator Gallery - Boadle Hall.

04.01.2022 Hey people with bottoms! We are now selling this recycled toilet paper at Three Stories. We don't take any profit, so each roll is only $1 each (which may sound expensive, but they are actually double length, 3 ply rolls). We just thought we'd act as an outlet in Healesville, so Coles and their limited supply of recycled toilet paper can go jump! If enough people buy from us, we'll also stock the tissues!

04.01.2022 We are ready to launch into our first Sketch and Paint this coming Wednesday, 14th September! Meeting at Badger Weir Car Park at 9.30am. BYO sketch pad, pen/pen...cil and watercolours! Maybe a camera or your phone. Oh! Don't forget to bring a snack and a drink. We will create a series of 15minute sketches, then after all our hard work and concentrating it will be time for a break and a chat! Afterwards the watercolours will flow!
