25.01.2022 We would rather our sweet spot did not become a hot spot. So we are officially closed for the time being. Health permitting, see you on the other side.

20.01.2022 Get excited art lovers your in for another no surprises, white man centric year of big shows at the NSW art gallery. That’s right five of the best Australian white men exhibiting in one of our major art institutions, who would have guessed hey, aren’t we so lucky to be able to celebrate so much white man art in this country, at least 100years or so, oh sorry 4 Australian white men and Duchamp, hey who wouldn’t love some more Duchamp !!!!!!!!

20.01.2022 "Do not share the shooter's name. Do not share the shooter's evil video. Do not share the shooter's evil manifesto. Mass killers desire fame and attention. Starve them of it"... mmmmm a few words from some "highly Regarded" thinking type American public figures. How about we add a little something, after each line.... eg. Do not share the shooters name, unless their non white Do not share the shooters evil video, unless their non white etc etc etc anyhow enough said, otherwise we may have some ugly meatheads enter the shop and tackle us to the floor

19.01.2022 Shapeshifting once again. Three-thirds is now operating from the space in the picture. Please do not book an appointment via this page unless you are in Sydney. I know it's been a messy, loose and at times quite an unprofessional enterprise from the very beginning way back in 2011, however what can one do. So thanks to everyone who has been in for the long haul. Shall return soon, perhaps!

18.01.2022 Ok, this is probably us reading a little to much into kitchenware, however as everybody probably knows, that happens to be the shop forte. Now I am concerned as it is with the over-sexualisation and fetishisation of much of our societies practices and rituals. However, I have now been left speechless. I recently purchased a kitchen blender, and low and behold at first site thought that the company had, bless their little marketing hearts, given us a bonus gift with our kitch...enware, yes a sex toy, to be specific an anal dildo. I was as surprised as you probably are right now, so I had to really take a good look at the blenders manual. Phew or damn, (whichever way your inclined), it happens to be a tool to jam down large root vegetables or nuts. Well I still remain speechless, kitchens, kitchen benches, romantic breakfasts, olive oil, coconut butter, I am sure there is an explanation out there. See more

17.01.2022 Due to the current circumstances three thirds are suspending the service of face shaves and beard trims, please attend to the front of your face at home, just in case

15.01.2022 Greetings everybody, shop has officially closed today and will reopen for December 30,31 and then regular hours from the 3rd of Jan onwards,

15.01.2022 Due to the long weekend and a chance to take a day off, the shop will be closed tomorrow being Saturday or perhaps today being Saturday if you read this tomorrow, cheers from the team at three thirds

13.01.2022 Some say they still see the ghastly apparition of a lone barbers chair in the building

13.01.2022 Now if your health conscious mindfulness oriented lifestyle has lead you to purchase one of these little ‘gems’, yes a rose quartz dildo, or you have found the need to propose first and then smash it on the sourdough afterwards, please drop by and allow us to offer you an appropriate haircut to accompany your lifestyle choices

12.01.2022 Dear patrons, three thirds would like to express deep gratitude for all of your support over the past nine years, yes it's been nine big ones. Unfortunately, we have been indirectly affected by the pandemic. Our landlord has decided to terminate the lease and convert the premises into a residential space. We are quite disappointed, however, what can you do! It has been a blessing to have met all of you and conversed on many wonderful occasions. We must admit however, battery ...point is a little beige these days, well, to be honest, the last five years have been teetering between vanilla and beige. That doesn't reflect upon our clients though, only 5% actually live locally, the interesting ones. In fact, we suggest a mass squat takes place, don't bother finding a new rental, head down to battery point, and squat in one of the vacant Air b&b's, free haircuts if you do. Anyhow this coming week is the last week of business, wrapping up the end of this month, 31st July. Now there will be another incarnation of three thirds, although it's not going to suit everybody, in fact, it's probably business suicide. Anyway, three-thirds is going to move into a cabin in the woods, between Molesworth and New Norfolk. It will be weekends only, no bookings, just text and you will be sent the directions. Facebook shall remain the same so the number is on there and google. Anyhow if we don't see you ever again, may you be blessed with an infinite amount of positive barber experiences. cheers

07.01.2022 Another compassionate Australian politician! This guy is from Queensland, yet again, now I think if I really get what he is saying, I think its time to close our state borders to all Queenslanders! https://says.com//they-are-the-perpetrators-an-aussie-sena

06.01.2022 Well as we all know columns were designed to hold ceilings up without the need for walls. So not to be outdone by the masters of architecture, three-thirds have designed our own columns, keeping up with the columns of the ancients we maintain a high level of structural integrity and decorative embellishment for your safety and pleasure, you can see we're heavily influenced by the past, see you soon

06.01.2022 Please do not drop in today, we are closed until tomorrow. It looks as though Molesworth has become a permanent basin, fishing, water sports, etc. so due to our annual flood, I will be rowing about the property in a rubber dinghy stacking wet chickens onboard. See you tomorrow

05.01.2022 Dear patrons, new changes for three-thirds have been set in place. Unfortunately, fate has forced our hand. Beginning this coming week the structure of the business has changed. The shop is now bookings only. The shop will be open Wednesday Thursday and Friday only from 9 - 6. You can text the new number 0448026821 or message the Facebook page. ... If the world returns to something kind of similar to what we all currently know, we shall revise again. A sign on the door looks exactly like this! Monday...................................closed Tuesday..................................closed Wednesday 9-6 Thursday 9-6 Friday 9-6 Saturday.................................closed Sunday...................................closed Appointment only ph 0448026821 or message us

04.01.2022 Well well well, tomorrow is Saturday or it maybe today, depends I guess, it’s all about interpretation and perspective. Anyhow unfortunately we will not be able to cut hair on this day, thank you for your understanding

04.01.2022 Great article http://rundog.art/the-canonisation-of-quilty/

03.01.2022 We saw tourism Australia was copping some flack for being unrealistic in their #philAUSophy ad, so we thought we'd help them out with a new edit that's a bit more honest

02.01.2022 Hi everyone the shop is closed today in respectful honour of musical theatre, open again on monday

02.01.2022 Thankyou wonderful inquisitive's for venturing out to the lounge room today; the future home of 'Molesworth hair condimentum', a pony ride for your follicles.

02.01.2022 Three thirds: a pickers loungeroom, is officially open from this weekend 10-4 Saturday and Sunday. Business operating hours will remain weekends only and strictly by appointment. Bookings can be made on the page here or text the mobile number. Please do not just drop-in as we have large hounds to chase you away, and there will probably be nobody here if there are no appointments scheduled in, we may be found snacking on some of Black Mountain Bakeries smoking hot Foccacia, yep that's right, baked on-site at the New Norfolk Saturday market. So make an appointment and we shall take you to paddle boat up the creek, for a camel ride around the Derwent valley, give you a piece of cider cake and then bid you farewell, so you can enjoy a fun-filled day in New Norfolk!

02.01.2022 Ok we are able to remain open for the meantime. How the shop will work is going to be slightly different to the usual running of our little home. The government allowed for 30min cuts so never fear we will have you done in 20 as we are used to the pace. We shall have a board on the wall, if there is someone in the chair you can wait as there is plenty of room. If there is someone waiting already we shall have a board on The wall, we will write your name and number and once we are ready we shall give you a text so you can come in for your cut. We are maintaining a vigilant sterilising process within the shop so everybody will be safe and out of harms way while in our clean little hands, cheers and all the best
