13.01.2022 No way... this gives a whole new meaning to "Just heading out for an early morning walk". Incredible footage by Simon Bischoff from Video Compass of his buddy L...ukas Irmler high line walking at Cape Hauy on the Tasman Peninsula last weekend! We also love the amazing sounds of the ocean. Whilst we don't expect you to reach these dazzling heights the walk to Cape Hauy from Fortescue Bay is one of the most spectacular in Tassie. This one has got it all... a 12km gravel road to reach Fortescue Bay camp ground before you head out along the wonderfully prepared 8km track which is also the start of the Three Capes Track. Along the way you are pretty likely to also run into echidnas and wallabies before reaching the stunning views of the totem pole (straight down) and the hippolyte rocks (just offshore), coastal tracks plus plenty of lookouts along the way. All up allow 3-4 hours return. #Tasmania You can also follow Simon via instagram: www.instagram.com/_simonbischoff_

02.01.2022 A small camera (GoPro) was lost on the track in early December. Location may have been around the bag drop area at Cape Huay.. If anyone has found it or knows of anything please get in contact with either this page or 0407879080. Cheers
