21.01.2022 First foal to come home to Three Fillies Lodge this season. A lovely little filly by the international champion Highland Reel with her mum Ainzali by Choisir. Enjoying their new paddock.

21.01.2022 The celebration dinner, the night before the Palio Di Siena- the crowd sings and cheers all wearing scarfs in their colour. In this song it’s the ladies against the men. The Eagle Contrade’s dinner takes place in this square which is the inner of what was to be the largest church in the world, if only it had been completed. Several courses of food and wine provided by the citizens of the Contrade.

20.01.2022 A huge thank you to the amazing milliner Catherine Quartermain Millinery for the creation which is gaining many comments already. Thanks Cath!! X

18.01.2022 Ambience created by these guys at the pre Ascot cocktail party Kensington gardens.

17.01.2022 In a year when we can’t attend the Carnival at least we have the babies. Flashy 2 day old Toronado filly ex stakes performed winning Not A Single Doubt mare, Nothin On Me, stretches her legs for the first time out of the box, while mum tries desperately to keep her baby in eyesight. Easy to see why ‘they’ call foals time wasters.

16.01.2022 In the very next yard, 5 day old Akeed Moheed colt ex city winner of 5 races Flying Hostess stretches his legs out with confidence.

16.01.2022 A great way to kick off the magic millions - drinks at Moo Moos with many racing identities, but none better than the great (and lovely) Frankie Dettori!! Need I say more!? What a trooper ... and a champ!!

15.01.2022 Windsor Castle visit today. Happened to catch the Queen, Phillip, Charles, Camilla etc getting in their cars to go to Ascot.

14.01.2022 Three days racing at The Curragh. So much racing history here.

13.01.2022 Visit to The Irish National Stud and Japanese gardens, and famous Invincible Spirit - sire of our great sire I Am Invincible.

13.01.2022 The best time of the day on the farm - sunrise, with my two favorite mares (Flossy and Rosie) sharing a pick in the foreground. A fresh morning before record breaking December temps.

09.01.2022 The sort of history that is just not found in Australia, the Palio Di Siena. A horse race in which 10 of the 17 Contrade (districts or wards) of the city have horses run three laps of the town square (Piazza Del Campo) on 2/7 and 16/8. The jockeys ride bareback and wear the colours of the contrade. Tonight was the celebration dinner for the contrades and we attended Aquila (eagle) dinner. Food drinks singing speeches in the square on a balmy night! Amazing!

07.01.2022 Three Fillies Lodge welcomes our 2019 babies born within a week of each other (Sat, Wed, Sat) - Highland Reel filly, Toronado filly and cheeky So You Think colt only 4 days old. Got to love spring!! I look forward to watching them grow and play.

06.01.2022 The Curragh track and gallops. The horses certainly have vast spaces to train on.

06.01.2022 The amazing Royal Ascot racecourse with its magnificent mile long straight. The anticipation of a magnificent carnival ahead.

01.01.2022 Irish Derby upset - won by a pace setter who got away from the pack!

01.01.2022 Riding the simulator at The Jockey Club museum in Newmarket, home of racing. Perhaps I could have made a jockey? I’d only have to lose about 10kg .... or more! Ok so maybe I’d settle for track rider!
