21.01.2022 I predict ... that 2021 is going to be amazing! Whilst I spent many years studying Astrology, Numerology and a bit of time with Tarot, I don't actually know much about Palmistry. But I think the imagery is absolutely gorgeous, which is the reason I made this piece ('Curiosities No. 8'). ... Actually, I did a short Palmistry course through WEA (of all places!) about 15 years ago - the funny thing is, it told me a lot that was already in my Astrological chart, and in my Numerology. It's interestingly how all these things tie together. (that's my Sun, Moon + Ascendant, in case you're interested) My Astrology teacher always said that the 'props' weren't important - if the Universe wants to tell you something, it will find a way How about you? 18.01.2022 Sunday in the home studio before things got weird ... Later in the day, despite it being 41 degrees C, I was warping up the loom in my air conditioned studio ... until we had emergency alerts for a huge bushfire ('wildfire' for those in the US) near Cherry Gardens - which is way too close for comfort. We had our cat carriers ready, as well as essentials just in case we had to evacuate - it was an uneasy night (putting the pool cover on at 1am!), but thank goodness for CFS... volunteers, and the pouring rain yesterday afternoon! The fire is now 'contained', but it will be burning for the next few days. Oh, and what am I making? Welllll, you may just have to wait for a while until I show you this one, heh heh See more

11.01.2022 46 TODAY YEAH!!! If you ask my partner Anita, she will tell you that this is me pretty much most days I’m quite an enthusiastic person, lol! (don’t let my dark art fool you, it’s very tongue in cheek!) In the last 12 months, I have really looked inward and decided what sort of person I want to be when I grow up! So I have started a YouTube channel to get me out of my comfort zone, had my first solo exhibition, have met a lot of really cool art people, and generally... feel like I’m on the right path to take me where I really want to go. I just want to say thanks to everyone here who is supportive of my crazy ideas, supportive of my weird, dark art (even if it’s not your thing, I still appreciate the support!), and supportive of my YouTube channel (which is 1 year old tomorrow!). 08.01.2022 MELOCHROMATIC :: If you’re in Adelaide, Collective Haunt Inc. is open from Wednesday Saturday, 11-4 for your viewing pleasure! In the foyer downstairs is the beautiful exhibition ‘Fenestra’ by @morningstar101 , and my exhibition ‘Melochromatic’ is in the main gallery upstairs. I will be posting a short video this weekend giving you a guided tour but it really is true that all my pieces look so much better in real life! (thanks @lorenorsilloart for reminding me of this at the opening!!)

07.01.2022 This plant is pretty cool ... it's a Calathea Rufibarba If you have seen it in my stories, it is amazing because in the late afternoon its leaves start standing straight up! I have seen other Calatheas that do this too, so cool! My gorgeous little 5 year old niece Sierra picked it out for me The leaves have a gorgeous texture too, like velvet....
