25.01.2022 Happy Thursday! Yes we are open for dinner this evening...and I believe there is still a little room left for any one interested! As you well know we are approaching the weekend which means Ann is extra busy prepping meals! 25.01.2022 Happy Friday.... This time in a week....!!! This year I am going to be lucky enough to be spending Christmas with my family on my sister's farm near Harden. Kate has decided that this year she isn't going to do the traditional fare of turkey, ham, baked vegetables and plum pudding (a meal where we all formally sit around the table, paper hats on head, air conditioner cranked... where we tend to over eat... then have to eat the "leftovers" in different guises for the next fe...w days!!) No, this year we are doing crispy skinned pork belly... Asian duck... salads... shared platters... something cold for dessert (still the hats and cranked air conditioning!)... and I can't wait! A great reminder that Christmas fare can be whatever you want it to be!! Things I love: My Aunt's trifle. I am sure I could make it but I doubt it would taste the same as hers (packet jelly - red and green!, store bought sponge drenched in Sherry, canned peaches, homemade custard and lashings of cream - LOVE) Mum's Rumballs - the same recipe we make at three girls... we based on her original recipe..we made it arguably "better"!!! Gran's Christmas Pudding - again, the same recipe we make at three girls - just times by 20!! Mum's Cheesy Toast - white bread dried out with cheese and paprika on it (I will get you the recipe!) Requested always by my sister - perfect with afternoon drinks (goes in no time...despite trying to ration it out!!) three girls Fruit Mince Tarts - spiced, apples, the obligatory dried fruit, apple cider - we think they are really good! A list that is filled with memories...with love... with family (whether they are still with us or not). I hope your table will be filled with all the things that make you happy (if you need help we have got you covered!) Have a great day..whatever you get up to. See you at the shop. Caroline O PS. Mum, if you read this can you share your cheesy toast recipe..X

24.01.2022 Happy Monday... Photo Caption: Sometimes we make our own obstacles, just to jump over them! A day (or so) of rain and everything is instantly green! ... What's on this week: Dinner Thursday Night - now, as for the menu, what I can tell you is, one of the mains will definitely be duck! There will be something else for main (yet to be determined) and three desserts (that will be wonderful, again, yet to be confirmed!)..and garlicky garlic bread to start. Am I selling it to you?!! I love/appreciate that we can book out without any of you knowing what will be on offer (realistically, this is a terrible business model, but somehow you trust us enough to blindly book (and we love you for it). Bookings are essential due to the current restrictions: (p) 33791688. The "fridge" will be filling up with the things we want to eat (Old School Staples to help get you through the week! Amy and Claire are in the kitchen baking away (Amy made the most AMAZING Mandarin Marmalade last week for our "Awesome Shelf" (best I have ever eaten!) and Liz made an AMAZING Pineapple and Ginger Conserve on Saturday - another winner..despite my original questioning of "pineapple jam!" - it just works!! Ann also made a Coconut Jam (Kaya) - a nod to her Malaysian childhood memories - slathered on white fluffy bread, love! ... I am stuck at my desk doing book work!! Just between you and me I would much prefer to be in my spot, facing the wall!, at three girls - it really is one of my most favourite places to be! Have a great day...whatever you get up to. Caroline and the team that is three girls skipping O

23.01.2022 Happy Friday.... Yesterday was R U OK day.. it didn't go unnoticed! There is a lot that feels a bit (a lot!) over whelming (especially) in this current climate and I know how the relentless feeling of anxiousness can get inside your head... I also feel the kindness, friendship and support in this wonderful community... the daily, simple gestures of love and caring. There is a sense of belonging of being part of something bigger than myself.... Something that seems to (or mig...ht) help is to just get amongst it (if you can). Maybe go for a coffee - a smile, a quick conversation...a cake... sometimes can make a world of difference to a day! Find the "one" (cafe) that "fits" you, that makes you feel welcome, seen..and makes the coffee just as you like it!! And know that you aren't alone... X Have a great day..whatever you get up to. Caroline O Lifeline (p) 13 11 14 is available 24/7 X. PS. ... the coffee machine is on! ... while there are NO Grab-And-Go dinners tonight Ann, Lou and Scott have filled the "fridge" with Comfort food at it's best (the Vegetarian Lasagna was a winner in my house last night!) There will also be Chicken Soup (as requested by Isabelle!), the odd curry and old school beef and cheesy bechamel Lasagna with Garlicky Garlic Bread!! ... Liz and Amy are all things sweet from take-home desserts in the "fridge" to decadent cakes in the cabinet (Sicilian Apple STILL my favourite!!). See you at the shop. O
23.01.2022 Happy Monday... This is it...Christmas week!! ... the coffee machine is on! (we will be raring to go by 6am)... ... 23.01.2022 Happy Wednesday... and Good Morning Alison Alexander. X I am sure you have a collection of recipes that have either been given to you by family and friends, taken from magazines and books or more recently downloaded from the internet. The ones I particularly like are those that have the donor’s name attached and I can remember the connection with that person. I have a favourite Cheese Biscuit recipe from Elise Pascoe who at the time was cookery writer for The Sydney Mornin...g Herald (see recipe below). This recipe is quick to make in the food processor and the mixture is rolled into a log and chilled before slicing into discs and baking. I have seen many variations of this biscuit but I especially like the version from Margaret Fulton at this time of the year. Margaret renamed them Remembrance Biscuits and placed a rosemary leaf on top of each biscuit before baking. It is such a simple thing to do but works so well. (It is best to pick a sprig of rosemary and leave it to dry for a few days before using the flavour will be better) Caroline often talks about the collection of handwritten recipes she has from her grandmother and I know they have had a great influence on her as a chef. I am saddened when I hear of people who are given the task of packing up an older family member’s home and throw out these hand written notes and scraps of paper (often torn from a magazine while in a doctor’s waiting room) which are usually pasted into an exercise pad. These recipes can be an important piece of social history. Reading through them is a walk through time - Do you remember when tinned pineapple was used in a recipe and it always had a glacé cherry in the centre definitely the 50s or a whole pineapple which was stuck with toothpicks that carried pieces of kabana, cheese, cocktails onions and more VERY 60s! Froths and foams are certainly 21st century. I treasure the recipes given to me and love it when someone requests a recipe from me. There is no such thing as a secret recipe, much better the share! (Caroline: unless it is the Sicilian Apple Cake recipe!!!) Until next week. AA Parmesan Biscuits Original recipe from Elise Pascoe. The seeds can be omitted and a rosemary leaf lightly pressed on top of each biscuit before baking. 130g plain flour 2 tablespoons cornflour 120g freshly grated parmesan 1 teaspoon salt teaspoon cayenne pepper 125g unsalted butter, chilled and cut into pieces 1 tablespoon lemon juice cup poppy seeds cup sesame seeds
23.01.2022 Happy Friday.... Do you ever marvel at the choice of food we have available to us these days?!! Remember when going out to a Chinese meal was fancy - chop sticks seem exotic - deep fried ice cream with caramel topping was a revelation. McDonald's was only reserved to Birthday Parties (or when my Dad, on several occasions, went to Tamworth on business and returned home to Narrabri (two and a half hours away!) with a car full of cheese burgers that he duly deliver around town -... of course they had to be microwaved to bring them back to their former "glory" but we thought they were amazing!!) ...and cappuccino's had a towering crown of chocolate powdered "froth" that you ate with a spoon before you got to the coffee (not a thermometer or a skinny decaf or nut milk, of some kind, in sight!). These days Lach (my son aged 8 yrs) think's nothing of Friday night Sushi... Sunday Yum Cha with friends... Make your own Fun Rolls at our local Vietnamese... Macca's when his Dad can't be bothered cooking (whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner!)... the odd curry (not made on the Keen's Curry powder in the tin - and nothing called "Curry Egg"!!)... and the list goes on!! This is his "normal"... on how times have changed!! For now: ... the coffee machine is on! ... Ann and Lou are filling the "fridge" with Sweet and Sour Pork (made from scratch!), Spice Baked Chicken with a Coconut, Saffron and Cardamon Rice Pilaf, Old School Lasagna, Beef Brisket Massaman Curry... and a few other bits and pieces to tempt you! (as well as a cabinet filled with sandwiches and salads!) ... Liz and Amy are making all things sweet - Jars of Lindt Chocolate Mousse, Apple Rice Pudding and Tiramisu! Look out for Amy's AMAZING Mandarin Marmalade and Liz's Pineapple and Ginger Conserve.... Winner!! (as well as a cabinet filled with cakes, scones, the odd brownine..and so much more!!) I'm in front of a computer again!! I don't know how you do it (if that is how you spend your days... I can tell you, from experience, cooking is much more fun!!) Have a great day...whatever you get up to! Caroline PS. Happy Birthday to my gorgeous sister Kate - can't wait to see you. X
22.01.2022 Oh humble sponge cake...how underrated you are! Now you might have already noticed we've been throwing strawberries around left, right and center at Three Girls (you may have seen the pictures!) That's because last week we received a truckload of beautiful strawberries from Oasis Strawberry Farm. Needless to say, now we are frantically trying to use them all up! So this week we decided to feature the classic Victoria Sponge cake and always beautiful butterfly cakes (An afte...r school treat that featured heavily throughout my years of primary school!) It's going to be all Chantilly cream, house made strawberry jam & freshly baked sponge cake! (Tea Party anyone?) So come and visit! Our cabinet is sure to be beautiful. Liz Walker Finger buns & Butterfly cakes

21.01.2022 Happy Monday..... "Great things in business are never done by one person; they're done by a team of people." Steve Jobs ...and what a team I have! They have stepped up to the plate again and again... they have embraced the new "normal" (not so new anymore), worked harder than ever before..and they have kept us in the game! And it has been hard, relentless and so, so rewarding!!... I also know that three girls is, at her heart, is a community based Cafe.. we work best with people around us, with connection, with routine and friendship. So... this week we are "pivoting", again!! While the "fridge" will remain filled with new and exciting Staples to help get you through the week (I will post what is available)... we are putting a pause to Friday Night's Grab-and-Go Dinners for now. Why you might ask... well, our little kitchen was only designed to do so much and I feel as though we have been pushing her and the team to their limits... and we want to be around for the long term!! So, we are "pivoting" to concentrating on the core of what we do, (and do it better than ever before) - AMAZING food with heart, service with a smile.. the odd dinner (because we remembered why we love doing them on Saturday night). Cabinets filled with the foods we want to eat... made and served by a team that love this game as much as I do! So for now...the coffee machine is on. Amy is in the kitchen baking to fill the cabinets with all things sweet. Lou and Scott are filling the "fridge" with meals to get you through the week and food for the cabinet to get you through the day. Thank you, as always, for your continued support.. Have a great day... whatever you get up to. See you at the shop. Caroline
21.01.2022 Happy Wednesday.... Hello to the wonderful Alison Alexander. COMPETITION TIME!! This week AA laments on her approach to Christmas shopping (I think I might be in the same boat!! There is always that one person!!) and, in her usual generous and wonderfully sharing self, has one of her favourite cook books to GIVE AWAY! ... AA I have started my Christmas shopping much too late this year and the shops are busier each time I visit. Children and young adults are not too hard but the older people on my list are the tricky ones. Just how many times can I give the same person a book voucher? Some weeks ago I wrote about Diana Henry and her book Salt Sugar Smoke which is a great favourite on my bookshelves. The book includes recipes for many types of preserving from jams and pickles to curing and smoking fish to a wonderful fig vinegar and lots more. I have a copy to give away to the person who can come up with the best caption for the photograph below. Just one judge, me! No bribes or brown paper bags please but I would love your ideas. Until next week.... AA
20.01.2022 Happy Monday... Well... the countdown to Christmas is well and truly upon us!! ... the coffee machine is on (and the ice machine is cranking if you are leaning towards a more chilled caffeine hit!) ... ... Caroline (I can remember when stamps were 15c!)
20.01.2022 Happy Sunday.... We are CLOSED today (Sunday)... Lach and I have no idea what we are going to do today... but isn't that the best thing about Sunday's, nothing has to be planned for it to be AMAZING (am still the person telling everyone how good Sunday's are, I hope the novelty of not working it never wears off!!) Just a heads up we are planning on OPENING for dinner (DINNER!!) to celebrate Father's Day on Saturday, 5th September. Details to be finalised and posted early n...ext week..stay tuned!! Have a great day whatever you get up to (or don't get up to!!) Caroline O
20.01.2022 And a Happy Saturday morning to you! We hope you have some lovely things planned this Fathers Day weekend! 17.01.2022 Happy Sunday... I saw this posted the other day and it has stayed in my thoughts... "You can always tell when a person has worked in a restaurant. There's an empathy that can only be cultivated by those who've stood between a hungry mouth and a $28 pork chop, a special understanding of the way a bunch of motley misfits can be a family. Service industry work develops the "soft skills" recruiters talk about on LinkedIn discipline, promptness, the ability to absorb criticism, ...and most important, how to read people like a book. The work is thankless and fun and messy, and the world would be a kinder place if more people tried it. With all due respect to my former professors, I've long believed I gained more knowledge in kitchens, bars, and dining rooms than any college could even hold." ~ Anthony Bourdain 06/25/1956 - 6/8/2018 Have a great Sunday, whatever you get up to.... Caroline and the three girls team PS. We are CLOSED (still) on Sunday's.
17.01.2022 Happy Saturday.... Is any one else feeling as though this year is just flying by (faster than usual!!)? I know that this is my usual gripe, but seriously...August is almost over!! The cabinets and fridge will be full of three girls baked love...staples for the weekend, cakes for afternoon get together's... scones with homemade strawberry jam and chantilly cream... and the list goes on! Have a great weekend..whatever you get up to. See you at the shop. Caroline O
17.01.2022 Happy Thursday.... I am the one who does ALL the cooking in our house!! The boys will actually wait for me to come home (whatever time it is!!) before even thinking of what they might want to eat! Now, I love cooking, LOVE IT, but having to decide and cook dinner every night drives me NUTS!!! Between you and me I want Ann, Lou and Scott to keep filling the fridge with staples every week for absolutely selfish reasons... it just makes my life a little easier (and hopefully you...rs too!) This week in the "Fridge" we have: Snapper Fish Pie (I had this for dinner last night!! LOVE!) (serves 3-4) Butter Chicken with Steamed Rice and Raita (because we love it!) 16.01.2022 And a very happy Tuesday morning to you all! Now it's not very often we in the kitchen get the chance to snap a beautiful all encompassing shot of our cake display...mostly because we are always too busy but also because it is generally quite an awkward thing to do in our tiny space. It generally involves getting up on stools in high traffic areas during busy times while the display is fresh and still full... trying to avoid reflections off windows and display cases not to me...ntion staff members and customers darting around trying desperately to avoid being 'in shot'. So this picture my friends is one of the rarities, a very classic Three Girls Skipping cake display shot featuring our ever popular cakes that we make from scratch right here in our own tiny but beautiful kitchen. For those of you who might not know us so well, we take considerable effort to bake everything you see from scratch, with ethically sourced ingredients and we do our very best keep everything as fresh as humanly possible. Suffice to say we prefer our cakes to be on the shelf for a day rather than a week...and anything we lack the space to actually produce ourselves we like source from local artisans like Miette's, Wholly Crumpets and the Scenic Rim producers. I can't tell you how wonderful it is to work with a team that is truly so passionate about what they produce and where ingredients come from. Here's to another week of baking! Liz Walker Cake baker & confectionery maker
15.01.2022 Happy Wednesday... (I think the caption for this picture should read, "you can not control the wind..." ) The coffee machine is on.... ... If you are in the shop today, our Cake of the Month will be in the cabinet ready for slicing. This November we are doing a Mango Curd Mousse cake with Chantilly cream, soft baked meringue, toasted coconut & freeze dried mango. Perfect for the warmer weather! 14.01.2022 Happy Thursday... and Good Morning Alison. This week Alison attempts to get us organised with festive fare since Christmas is fast approaching. This year at three girls we decided against making Christmas Cakes - so AA has stepped in with a recipe! AA makes a lot of fruit cakes. If you are on the receiving end you know that they are prized! I can't imagine how many she has judged at the Ekka..but I would have to say she is an expert in this field. Happy Baking... Alison Alexa...Continue reading
14.01.2022 Happy Tuesday everyone! Okay, so this last week, we in the Kitchen have been having some truly wonderful conversations about our favourite desserts and special treats from our childhood. It was very enlightening and honestly I don't think we've ever laughed more! But I was surprised to see that Milo featured heavily amongst many of us even though are all different ages and came from different backgrounds. Now I'm pretty sure this picture dictates how we all like our Milo:Milk... ratio...when we could get away with it (Ann) You know; so much dry Milo you choke on it while trying to drink it? Good times...! My favourite was always Milo on vanilla Ice cream and Amy's (for the win!) Milo on mashed banana! Why have I never thought of this before? So this week I thought I would try and work in some of our favourite childhood treats into our Grab N Go desserts and cabinet cakes... Stay tuned everyone....it's going to be interesting! Liz Walker Going to buy Milo

11.01.2022 Happy Friday... 2 WEEKS until Christmas!! I mean..seriously... 2 weeks!!! Just the idea that we are all going on holidays has put a spring in o...ur steps... and we are excited. 11.01.2022 Happy Sunday.... And the WINNER is... Post - Alison Alexander:... Thank you to everyone who posted a caption for the photo of four children singing it was a lovely photo to work with. It is time to pick a winner because the first red currants came into the shops this week and along with cherries and raspberries, these are the fruits required to make the wonderful Marmalade of Cherries recipe in Salt Sugar Smoke by Diana Henry that I have written about previously. And the winner is.. @Jane Moller for her caption The girl second from the left (not singing) is thinking Oh gosh, how do I tell this girl on my right she’s on the wrong page? I hope you enjoy the book Jane. (I’m sure the bowl that was used to make the Plum Pudding for Christmas was also used for a couple of those haircuts on the children!) Congratulations to Caroline and her team for their great efforts running Three Girls Skipping this year. The ever changing salads from Ann using seasonal produce have been excellent and many thanks to Liz for putting mangoes on the menu in that beautiful mousse cake. The space has proved challenging at times but we have all managed to keep our distance (well, mostly managed) and the take away meals have been a welcome break from the kitchen at times. Enjoy your rest over the Festive Season and I look forward to more of the same good food, coffee just how I like it, a new opening with three girls fishing and lots of laughs in 2021. 08.01.2022 Happy Thursday! Okay, so last week Caroline Jones gave me this gorgeous second hand recipe book titled, 'Mrs Beeton's Cookery and Household Management'.The title alone brings a smile to my face and conjures romantic images of butlers, maids and elegant mansions...however I assure you this book is far more practical! Now you probably can't tell by the picture but this book is an absolute door stopper! In over 1584 pages, Mrs Beeton covers every subject you could possibly imagi...ne, from how to lay out your kitchen, to tools most likely needed around the home (diagrams included), care of the elderly and let's not forget, The Law. It truly is a fascinating read from a different era. So while I won't be delving into the Routine Housework and General Cleaning section any time soon...I definitely love pouring over the hundreds of recipes she has put together here in this album, it's a truly impressive and comprehensive piece of work and I can't wait to bake from it. I'm thinking the yellow peach chutney will be my first... Oh and wouldn't you know it Caroline Jones? I even found a Pineapple Conserve recipe!! So here's to Mrs Beeton; her recipe's and her household management! Liz Walker Lover of second hand books

As always, there never seems to be enough hours in the day, I am always racing from one thing to another... Mum is finally coming up this weekend (so I have to clean my house so I look as though I am one of those incredible homemaker's with nothing out of place...I'm not!! Mum sends me recipes ALL the time - some she thinks "your friends" (that means you!) would like, some are things she think would go well in "the fridge", other's just get sent with the note "what do you think of this?". This looks like a easy one! (Excuse the photo... but I love it. X) Until next week (when AA returns!) See you at the shop. Caroline O PS. 02.01.2022 Happy Wednesday... I recently discovered Congee (well, to be more precise Shitake Mushroom Congee, with silken tofu, sesame and mirin mushrooms, edamame beans, crumble) on a catch up with friends at Lady Marmalade Cafe and Bar. Now these friends grew up eating Congee for breakfast or when they were feeling unwell and seemed to sell it as the blandest food you will ever love!! The Congee I ate was AMAZING, it was comfort, tasty and so so moreish (and I have been back several ...times since to sit and eat a bowl of it...!!) Comfort food at its best can fix almost any situation (big call...but I think even for a few minutes it can make the world stop and make us feel loved, happy and full). A good rice pudding... a slice of warm Sicilian apple cake... Gran's shortbread biscuits... Ann's butter chicken... Mum's roast... and the list goes on! This food is rarely "fancy"...never seems to involve a smear or a foam... it holds memories, a sense of belonging and love. Comfort. That is what I want/hope three girls to peddle - food that is, at its core, love! ... the coffee machine is on! ... Ann and Liz (and gang) are in the kitchen filling the cabinets and "the" fridge ... Lach has his Abraham Lincoln outfit out ready for his book week parade (I am hoping it isn't going to be too hot..he will swelter in a jacket and beard!!) Have a great day...whatever you get up to. See you at the shop. Caroline O PS. Lady Marmalade Cafe and Bar are changing their menu soon...so if you want to leave the "hood" for an outing and try their Congee, do it soon! PPS. If you have a great recipe for Congee (and are willing to share it with everyone) let me know - I can swap for cake!! PPS. Photo Caption: "Don't go through theeeeeee ...... puddle!!"
02.01.2022 Happy Wednesday..... and Good Morning Alison Alexander. X This week Alison reminds us or the joy of celebrating food in season with the not so humble asparagus (when in season it is very affordable and would have to be one of the easiest vegetables to cook). Alison:...Continue reading
02.01.2022 Happy Wednesday.... I have spent the last 10 years or so avoiding making scones at three girls!! There, I have said it!! They have been on our menu for ever and I LOVE our scones but making the perfect scone seems to be an innate skill... you have to work quickly, be gentle, have "cold" hands!! and if you don't do it right you can't just cover them in icing sugar!! I think my fear of scones started years and years ago when I received a phone call from a local tv. program ask...ing if I could make scones for a segment they were hoping to film. In the week leading up to "the day" I made 15 + different scones recipes in the hope of finding the perfect recipe and to master the art of the perfect scone. I tried the SR flour, lemonade and cream recipe.. the recipe that used milk, another that used buttermilk..another that used cream (and the one that used a combination!!). I tried Lady Flo's recipe.. the sacred CWA recipe.. recipe after recipe adapted in an attempt to produce something people would revere.. applaud... a recipeto be handed on, generation to generation!! Needless to say it was so long ago I can't remember what the final recipe was.. and I dare say the footage has been lost to time (thank goodness!!).. and as I said, I have avoided making them ever since...until last week when Liz told me (in not so many words) that I had to face my fear.. be at one with the scone.. embrace the process!! So now.. everyday I am making the scones. They haven't been pretty (but who says the have to be!), but they are getting better every time I make them (and lets face it once they a smothered with jam and cream (in that order!!) they are hard to beat.. and when I say "jam" I mean the Homemade strawberry jam we make .. and when I say "cream" I mean freshly whipped cream with sugar and vanilla bean (nothing out of a can!!). So.. ... the coffee machine is on! ... the cabinets are filling with the cakes we want to eat.. the sandwiches we love.. homemade quiche and salads... and the list goes on!! ... Ann is filling the "fridge" with Staples to help feed the family.. .. and I will be making scones!! Have a great day..whatever you get up too. See you at the shop (I'll be the one covered in flour!!) 01.01.2022 Happy Tuesday everybody! Okay so today I'm going to share with you my husbands latest kitchen adventure: Scotty's Festive Fun Time Nuts & Bolts. And yes, he really does call it that! For anyone who doesn't know Scott, he is the big guy with the beard in the kitchen at Three Girls working the stoves! Every year his family make the classic Nuts & Bolts but this year he decided to make it himself and put his own spin on it, and you know what? Its fantastic! ... So here is the recipe for anyone out there who wants to give it a go! Scott's Christmas gift to you! Liz Walker Happy Snacking!
01.01.2022 Happy Christmas Eve Everyone!! Well, yesterday was a particularly big day for us but I am pleased to report we will have rum balls, fruit mince tarts and Ginger Cookies available in the cabinet tomorrow! (get in quick now) and don't forget we are closing earlier at 12pm! I know Christmas plans have changed for many of you out there, but what ever your doing I hope you get to enjoy some wonderful food, great company and some quality down time!... So this is me signing off for 2020 and wishing all of you a happy, safe and wonderful Christmas and New Year, thank you for the support you have shown us this year, it's been a challenging one for all of us out there, but we at Three Girls are ever grateful for the support you've shown us! MERRY CHRISTMAS!! We will see you all in the New Year! Liz Walker Is it too soon for New Year resolutions??
01.01.2022 Happy Tuesday! A few lovely new things in the shop this week...as you can probably see already it's all a little bit 'pretty'.... Firstly, we are featuring a lovely Lemon and Hibiscus syrup cake with a Hibiscus tea glaze and edible flowers. Truthfully, I really cannot go past a beautiful tea infusion when it comes to baking. If I can work a loose leaf tea into a syrup, glaze or cake batter, I will! I may be a coffee fiend in the workplace but I hold loose leaf teas in very hi...gh regard...if you haven't tried adding them to your baking before, I can't praise them enough! Now we're also making jam drops (classic!) for any one scouting for cookies and in the Grab N Go fridge you may also find some cheeky little Mango & Mascarpone Mousse cups (say that three times fast!). I hope there's something here for everyone...see you in the shop! Liz Walker Tea enthusiast!
