24.01.2022 Today is RUOK? Day. A day reminding us to check in on the people in our lives to see how they are coping. This is especially important now and in Melbourne in particular. If you are concerned about a friend or neighbour or colleague check in on them. If you are not sure how to ask have a look at @ruokday or www.ruok.org.au/howtoask for some useful tools. It’s also a day to check in on ourselves, to ask ourselves if we are ok. We all have more on our plate than we have ever ha...d so check in with yourself first, be compassionate with yourself. If you don’t have the wherewithal to check on others that’s ok, take some time to nurture yourself. It’s absolutely ok to not be ok. We are sending out a massive virtual hug to all of you today and every day. Reach out if you need. 23.01.2022 Things are starting to look up! We are so excited that as of Monday 28th September restrictions will ease slightly for those seeking treatment with their Chinese Medicine practitioner. Previously we could only see extremely urgent cases for face to face treatments. Now we can see you for pain management, where your ability to function and perform daily activities is impaired, or if a delay in receiving treatment during Stage 4 restrictions has severely impacted your health a...nd wellbeing. We can also treat pre and post operatively. Visits for reasons other than those outlined above still need to be delayed, so no treatment for minor niggles or routine appointments for the next three weeks. We are also waiting for massage appointments to be available again as are so many of you. Hopefully soon. Whilst the strict guidelines determining who is permitted to receive treatment have been frustrating for many we are so pleased that Melbourne is moving toward some semi-normal functioning again. Well done Melbourne! If you are unsure at all of whether we can treat you please reach out to Annette and Christy so that we can discuss all the options available to you at this time.
