The Lamington, an Australian recipe, is a square cake with a chocolate "icing" and coconut. Honestly, the description doesn't do the little vanilla sponge square, dipped in warm "finger licking good" chocolate, and rolled in desiccated coconut any sort of justice. 12.01.2022 STAGE 4 LOCKDOWN UPDATE: We have had many questions and concerns about whether we will still be trading during the new Stage 4 Lockdown. The answer is: YES, bakeries are among the businesses regarded as essential, so we will be remaining open. Just like everyone else though, we are still unsure what impact these new restrictions will have on our business.... We only have a rough idea as to who is local and who is travelling from further away to get our products. We trust that our customers will do the right thing, by staying within the 5km radius regulation and by wearing masks when coming to our shop. However, it has become increasingly challenging to have the right balance of how much we should bake each day our goal has always been to have enough for everyone. You could help us by pre-ordering larger quantities of our famous sourdough and continental breads, as well as larger quantities of rolls and other products at least 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE. This would mean we that we can have a broader range throughout the day and that everyone has the same chance to buy our products.
