25.01.2022 Many of you know that I have a studio at home and i have to tell you, I love spending time here every day. No I'm not photographing every day but being here is a real high for me. There are time where I need to tackle the camera and the light and when I find a willing model, well thats is. Today was such a day, a friend of Nicole showed some interest in what I do...... Little did she know. Three hours later ...... here it is.

25.01.2022 Lake entrance Victoria , a very pretty place, rolling hills, small historical towns and friendly people. In the country people do talk to each other and talk to strangers.

25.01.2022 Something i did some time ago and after all this years of photography I finally acepted that my style of photography, smack bang in your face, hard no pussy farting around and I love it.

24.01.2022 Bet you wish you were here...

23.01.2022 A little afternoon snack ....

23.01.2022 Loose bit's by Peter : There was one single house on this beach, a European style house, Ian Simpson dropped me of with he's fast helicopter and off he went again telling me that he needed to do some other things and he'll pick you up later. Later I thought was maybe one hour maybe two but no I was there by myself on this amazing beach for ever and no one in side. This beach is very long and the bit you see in this photo is just a bit of it. Well hours late and don't ask wher...e they come from, must have been me skinny dipping what aroused there attention, 3 Fijians showed up. Bit scary mind you but they where very friendly and we started talking, one of them started fishing and not very long we had this big fresh fish on the fire. My job is amazing ...... and I couldn't imagine sitting in an office and going home at 5. Enjoy and comment if you like. See more

22.01.2022 Here is one more winter image to enjoy. It's like this at my front door almost every day. Missing this time a flock of about 20 pelicans. Enjoy !

20.01.2022 And then there was this chap. No hiding this time. Enjoy

20.01.2022 Yes I'm back from my trip from Thredbo in the Snowy Mountains to the Great Ocean road. We are camping in style at the National parks and at the free camping places. Most of this free camping places are with toilets and showers plus one is allowed to have a fire going if you placed your tent near a fixed fire place and bring your own wood. Late afternoon and early morning they are hundreds of Kangaroos and this little one been waking me up to early mind you. Guess he had enough of my snoring.

20.01.2022 Good morning nutty nuts lovers. Once FmF send me to HK to photograph the games, yes thee games 7s and It is was fantastic, I'm on the front line with my camera amongst photographer from all around the world, with there big lenses. The only time I was able to watch the games was when I didn't look through my lens. I realised very quickly that I missed it all, I missed all the games my team Fiji was playing and yes I managed to get great shots of the Fiji team in action but I bloody hell missed it. Enjoy todays Image.

19.01.2022 Today I'm a bit late but hope you all ready for Easter. This was taken after a very rainy season at the Sheraton Golf course. Enjoy !

19.01.2022 Loose bit's by Peter: Okay all lovers of the nut's, yes I know it's been some time that I was placing any images but today I needed to do this. 3LC Studio session, I did a setup like this before many years ago and I liked it then, and today I actually love it. If I tell you ..... well you know I have to kill you, just kidding. I would have loved a different model but lets say , he did shape up okay. Now ... First shot is Rob trying to tell me what to do, 2nd shot is, Action Rob ... 3rd, Happy Rob .... and last.. Rob the Vuda Pirate. Comments are welcome ... But more important .. Enjoy !

18.01.2022 Satin Bower Bird, wasn't sure about this but I can tell you, it's a noisy bird and kept dancing on our table trying to steel food. In National Parks people are not allowed to feed wildlife, guess this makes sense, just imagine Wombats, and Kangaroos hanging around day and night.

18.01.2022 Nirtika from Tavua

18.01.2022 This is a real treat. This beach " Currumbin Beach " is about 1000m long and truly a busy place and here is this one windsurfer just by himself having this amazing beach for himself. Tony would have loved this, and what a ride he had. Enjoy !

18.01.2022 There are some Images you seen before, please forgive me but looking at images is much better then creating war. Photographers out there are shooters some are sharp shooters and some we not talking about, lets stick with shooters. Our bullets today are megapixels and I guess some can be hurtful but most meant to feel good. Enjoy.

17.01.2022 Let loose on cloud 9 . Like sitting on a flying carpet , no bumps no noise, just loose sailing in the sky. Enjoy !

17.01.2022 Loose bit's by Peter: You might think Oh no not another sunset and after all my years of talking photos I still love a good sunset. I could have moved a bit to have the sun between the boats but is was so nice sitting in the sand and two security boy gave me a fresh cut coconut and drinking fresh coconut juice. If any of you have never experienced this and I mean not just on the run with plenty of tourists, no sitting in the warm sand with some fijians watching the sunset and drinking from a coconut. Wow this is living. ENJOY !

16.01.2022 Loose bit's by Peter: In just about 30 min Masi Rova my assistant and I will sit on this table and have dinner. We been working from 7 in the morning to 7pm ... Toberua is a vey nice place indeed. Enjoy !

15.01.2022 When I'm talking about waiting game, well that's what it is. Surfers sitting on there boards and waiting for this perfect wave to come and the magic begins. Riding this wave right to the end squeezing the last bit of ride out of this wave and all starts again. Enjoy !

15.01.2022 Loose bit's by Peter: Guess what, ya right, eat your heart out, I'm in Toberua Isl. with my assistant Eremasi Rova, and it is fantastic. Life is tuff for some I guess. Enjoy !

14.01.2022 Guess what.... Cool

14.01.2022 We on the road again and driving through small town and rolling hills. Gippsland Victoria , very pretty country, yellow and green grass and thousands of cows. Whole herds of bulls and then whole herds of milk cows and then THAT, right next to the road this big tree full of wild dogs. Yes wild dogs hanging from the branches, I just had to stop, never ever seen anything like this. A farmer tells me, wild dogs are a big problem and hanging them in the trees is a warning for other dogs to stay clear. I would love to have some comments on this photo, what do you thing???

14.01.2022 On my daily early morning walk, just thought to let you know that i'm walking in the morning, it might not look like it but I do......... I found this perfect freshly picked feather, actually Brian was the one who picket it up. By now I have a good selection of feathers, including some pelican feathers but this one was perfect for bringing it to the studio and photograph the thing. This image can be printed as a poster, it's 60cm x 90cm.

13.01.2022 Easter, yes loose people out there, easter is her again and this year there is no loose bunny for me, I been looking under every bush in my garden but no. Looking at this image, I miss fresh Fiji fruits , the taste of Fiji bananas or pineapple, sooo good, sweet and juicy. Enjoy your easter everyone. ...

13.01.2022 Look what I found, this must be a workshop for loose people, how good is that and all you see inside is BMW and Mercedes. I love this place and like to come back and spend more time photographing this place. Enjoy !

12.01.2022 I been relaxing in Fiji for a couple of weeks but one thing I miss seeing at the Airport is the BIG BIRD ...... How many likes from the Boeing fans who wish the 747 was still flying in Fiji skies.

11.01.2022 Good morning Loose lovers, today something very different. Easter is over, now we can go back to the Industrial hard yaka shots. Enjoy ! Comment if you like.

10.01.2022 Loose bit's by Peter : This is for all the loose people out there. dreams did come true, at least for me and I guess also for the 3LC gang. I'm the Cassius Clay of aerial photography, I love it wouldn't want to do anything els, having a great pilot " thanks Ian gang " there is nothing that scares me up there, never did. I been tell you I will show images for a couple of weeks but looking through our files, I could go for years and not just the jobs we did. The images are for you to enjoy, and hopefully to comment on, some are great and some are greater. I loved every minute of it and I'm not finished yet. Enjoy !

10.01.2022 There is so much ocean where I live that I never discovered this very pretty lake not very far from my place. Enjoy.

10.01.2022 Again, what a great morning here on the East Coast of Australia, and today I'm showing you highly tuned Church-organ flutes. Like anything els in live, if things in tune all is well. Enjoy.

09.01.2022 I could have stopped a thousand times. I have to do this again.

08.01.2022 Somewhere in Gippsland, It was nice and the people you talk to are so friendly. I know there are friendly people everywhere but in the country it seems to be different. People seem to have more time. I could be because there was no internet connection.

08.01.2022 I have one more for today , my son Simone and my grandson Peter and even so it might be boring to some, but I will show it anyway. Enjoy

06.01.2022 Good morning loose lovers, just came across this shot. To all of you out there who have to go to work sitting in an office the whole day, this is for you, ........ Have a nice day.

06.01.2022 Before It gets to hectic, I want to thank all lovers of the Loose Nuts for being loyal readers of our none important messages and I'm sure I'm speaking for all nuts. Merry Christmas and all the best for the New Year. Let's send enough messages to our leaders to stop this useless fighting in the world.

06.01.2022 A LOOSE FAREWELL... Almost 15 years ago, in a small house on Pender St in Suva, an idea was born among three friends to start a company that would allow them to work on projects that they were inspired by, and to travel around Fiji and hopefully the Pacific. That company was of course Three Loose Coconuts, and to celebrate our new beginning, we had Nicole, Peter’s young daughter, take the photo of us having a toast to the occasion it was more than a bit shaky, but it suited... us just fine. We called it the defining moment. That was a lifetime ago now. Along the way, we did what we loved and published over 20 books, that have somehow or other, found their way into homes across the globe. It was a fantastic experience, and one that we’re proud of having accomplished. Over the years, we have each found new focus on different paths, so we thought it appropriate that we close the chapter on 3LC. Today, we came together to have a photo again taken by Nicole (whose hands are now much steadier) to symbolically represent our coconut conclusion Our photographic adventures live on of course - you can find Peter’s new page here at Peter's Portraits, and Rob’s here at simply Rob Rickman. Go ahead and like the pages to follow our individual photography exploits. Glenbo isn't on Facebook... Whilst we won’t be posting up any new images on this page, we will put up never before seen images from the archives now and again, just to share with you some of the great times we’ve had. You will of course be the first to know if/when we collaborate on any projects in the future, so by all means keep watching this space. We thank you, our family, friends, and supporters who helped and put up with the loose nuttiness along the way. You’re all amazing. P + G + R

06.01.2022 Loose bit's by Peter: You might think wow Peter must have a lot of time on he's hand to come up with old images like that. Yes and no , but looking constantly through images I came across this little gem, and thanks to Dom who took this photo I was found by my schoolmates in Germany who been surging for me for years. That day we had to photograph an explosion, like the ones you see on TV at mining sides but this one was between Suva and Nausori close to peoples houses and it wasn't just a little bang, it was a big bangedebang. Boy memories and my memories are good once. Enjoy !

05.01.2022 Loose bit's by Peter: Someone is beating the Lali. We just about getting ready for breakfast Toberua style. Fresh Fresh oh yes alleluia. One never knows we might have to stay longer.

05.01.2022 Rob found a few deals on the internet, and now he has a few new toys he's playing with. Read about it here, and pick up a free image for your desktop... http://www.threeloosecoconuts.com/3lc/?p=1168

05.01.2022 Gold mining in Fiji, Amena my assistant and I went to the Vatukoula Goldmine taking photos for the Annual Report. We got all dressed up in miner outfits and down we went, more then 1km into the mountain, right next to the devil, yes it was hot, very hot and all this big machines down there, It was one hell of an experience, get it. The highlight was when we were there to melt the gold into several big, very heavy blocks of solid GOLD and lucky Amena was holding one of the big blocks. I have no bucket list because I done it all. Photography greatest job of all times.

04.01.2022 What can I say, no seagulls here.

04.01.2022 I thought I could do this better, I discovered, leave this sort of shots to Rob, he's the star

04.01.2022 Today, something very different. When Rob and I traveled through Germany we came across this parking sign. It means Parking for women only...... OMG Yes the space is bigger but it went straight though my mind , are German women so secure within them self not to worry about this statement or is it, that Australian women so insecure so they would be pissed of about this sign, burn there bra take of there knickers and run nacket in the street, sorry this was wishful thinking. I like to hear from anyone and it was Rob who took this photo, he knew we could stir the pot.

04.01.2022 A loose story. I'm shooting for Blue Lagoon, this time I'm in a helicopter and as so many times it's raining but the pilot promised, she'll be right mate. Okay, door of and off we go, the ship is already on it's way to some exotic location. The pilot suppose to drop me of at a beach where I will meet up with the ship and get on board. Well, it rained and I got left behind at the wrong beach. But here it is, as a true Loose Coconut we got the shot despite the rain. Enjoy !

03.01.2022 Loose bit's by Peter: One early morning and I managed to get out of this very comfy Musket Cove bed, it was was absolute still not a ripple on the water and here they where, lots and lots of sailing ships waiting for that gentle breeze, ready to set sail but first .....yes you right, first a cup of nice fresh Musket Cove Coffee and all is ready to start the day. Enjoy !

03.01.2022 Loose bit's by Peter : Most of you know this shot and I used it in a poster collection called Perfect Fiji Isl. One day I received a letter from a tourist who this poster was given and she wrote, Dear Photographer can you please explain what it is you see, there is nothing perfect about this beach and if all beaches look like this in Fiji I will never come. Well Beatch ... don't come we don't need people who cant see, Perfect Fiji Isl. Anyway when I walked onto this beach th...ere was a very young warrior showing some tourist this place, as soon as he saw me he tried to case me away " young full of energy grasshopper" telling me that this is he's beach and that I need permission to do this, lucky I had my assistant Amena with me who told him that he should be ashamed and that we will go to he's Ratu and ask. All went well, we always had Kava with us and mixed a bowl of grog and here is the famous beach again. ENJOY ! See more

02.01.2022 "PROGRESS" Coming back late from a job a few nights ago, and had to pull over to have a bit of a stretch. We stopped by a new development taking place along the Queens Road. Standing there under those stars, I couldn't help but get out the camera. I wish I'd had a wider lens on, just to get more of that glorious sky in, but I think in the end, I managed to capture an image that, for me anyway, kind of illustrates man's modern day march against the environment and nature, and yet the frailty of mankind itself.

02.01.2022 Loose bit's by Peter : There is not to much I can say about this image. Actually there is but I will not tell tails. The first time I laid my eye on Fiji was in 1980 and it was Plantation Island resort. OH boy we had beach parties every night and I got introduces to Ratu Rum and Cola, actually I don't think I used my beach bure for sleeping, just for cleaning up and to get ready for the next round. No I'm not telling okay but it was heaven. Enjoy !

01.01.2022 Loose bit's by Peter: But this time nothing happen, I'm just boating past from Musket Cove to Castaway Isl. and here she was. One boat with one person in it having a rest. It looked so peaceful and so pretty out there, how could I not talking this photo. Enjoy !
