08.01.2022 Meet the band member: Emily Mackenzie-Ross The quietest member of the band - with the loudest vocal chords! Her number 1 fans are her mum and sister and you’ll usually find her rocking a band tee and her signature baggy jeans. What instruments do you play? I sing in Three Of A Kind and occasionally play guitar or bass. I’ve been singing since I was about 12, including open mics around town and the Rich River Idol. ... I’m self taught for guitar, keys and Ukulele, with our very own Ethan Collusi teaching me anything I need to know for bass. Name an interest outside of music Books. If I’m not playing music then I’m reading books. I doubt you’ll know anyone with a more extensive knowledge of Harry Potter. Top 3 favourite musicians/songs Some of my current favourites are: Catfish and the Bottlemen The Kooks Arctic Monkeys

05.01.2022 Meet The Band Member: Ethan Colussi To summon him just play the song "living on a prayer" and he’ll appear to sing along. This Bon Jovi fanatic is more than just the acoustic guitar and fluffy hairdo that you see in Three Of A Kind. He’s the jack of all trades as far as musical talent goes! What instruments do you play? ... I pretty much play guitar in the band which I have been playing for about 2 years but I also play Bass, Drums and do a bit of singing. I'm a bass player at heart and have been playing for roughly 6 years. I've taught myself drums for 2 years and I've been singing for a few months How did you get involved in music? Before I had anything to do with music, I wanted to play drums. Within a week before my first drum lesson I broke my arm. Once my arm was fixed I still wanted to learn an instrument, but I chose the bass because I knew very few people played it at the time and I wanted to be different. Top 3 musicians? At the moment: Bon Jovi Matchbox Twenty Bruno Mars

03.01.2022 Meet The Band Member: Tyler Cox Known for her (currently) bright yellow hair and solo repertoire consisting of 99% Missy Higgins songs, meet the girl who’s best friends are her pet sheep. What instruments do you play? I mainly sing in the band but I can play guitar, drums and piano. I’m self taught for drums and I'm not the best but I can play some basic drum beats, (youtube is my friend). I had lessons on piano for a year but moved onto guitar and I've been playing guitar... for probably 2 years (also self taught). Are you involved in any other performing arts programs? I've been in two school productions, "Hey I'm romeo" in 2015 and "No ordinary school" 2018. When I lived in Perth I did Dance from ages 3 to 7 (so you would think I'd be a better dancer now but my dance moves include: bobbing my head and swaying awkwardly). I was also involved in my primary school's Choir. Aside from music, what’s your passion? I'd probably say scouting. My whole life pretty much revolves around scouts since I'm currently the Region Chairman of Northern Region Venturers. I've been to so many cool events and I don't think I could do the things Ive done without being in scouts. They’re my second family. Top 3 favourite musicians? My favourite artists change all the time so what I say now could be very different tomorrow. But for now; Missy Higgins Lost Tropics Mares or Veronica Maggio
