22.01.2022 Let's talk about second opinions. We all know you get a second opinion from a doctor when the news you have been given by the first is unexpected, or when the ramifications are significant. You go looking for answers, or for advice on how to minimise the impact of what ails you. It is smart, often leads to better diagnosis or treatment and helps you understand things better.... Why then when it comes to the health of your business, do you as a decision-maker not similarly look for second opinions? Perhaps your last campaign had lacklustre results, or maybe your costs are increasing without a comparable return. Whatever it is, doesn't the health of your business deserve a second opinion? https://threepiece.marketing/get-a-second-opinion-about-yo/ If you think it does, let's chat.
12.01.2022 Time is money - so the saying goes. So finding efficiencies in what you do, makes sense. When it comes to social media, time can often become a scarce commodity, but the value that posts and Stories have can be worth it. We know there are 3rd party tools for post scheduling and stories, but native scheduling would be a significant process upgrade. Fortnuately, last week, Facebook announced it is adding some new features in Business Suite including stories scheduling for both... Facebook and Instagram (with more features to come). Exciting right? The new option will enable you to compose Stories within the business app, then schedule them to go live on both Facebook and Instagram. Your scheduled posts will then be displayed on your content calendar within the Business Suite app. All clear and easy to read! As a marketer, this is beneficial because: 1. Saves you a ton of time. 2. Can give you a standardised look. 3. You can plan a whole campaign. 4. You can optimize your posting times. With this feature, you are more able to post stories more consistently increasing the time-sensitive feel you are going for. So here's the question, now you know you can do stories on a schedule, will you? Love to know your thoughts #socialmedia #content #digitalmarketing #facebook #tipsmarketing
04.01.2022 Many businesses fail because they put their own wants and needs first. But time and again, it has been proven that success comes when you always put yourself in the shoes of the customers. Only then will you understand what they need and what makes them buy something.
03.01.2022 In a surprising statement, Google's John Mueller said word count is actually not a quality ranking factor. Before this announcement he made in February 2021, a lot of marketers and specialists actually thought that adding more words to a content will help it rank well. But according to Mueller, it is still "...whether the content is relevant to keywords or if the content is relevant to user intent or if the content is relevant to people." So how do you improve existing articles for them to rank well. Find out in this article from the Search Engine Journal. https://www.searchenginejournal.com/word-count-not-a-qua//
02.01.2022 Here is some food for thought. Should you (/Digital Marketers) be worried about Ad Blockers? Industry changes (eg iOS14) and emergent tech including ad-blockers are "threatening" advertising. Or so people say... Ad blockers are apps, plugins, or browser extensions that alter or block ad content on a page. These can vary from the obvious, like banner and pop-up ads, and those operating in the background, such as trackers that log user’s online activity.... The question is what content do we expect to be impacted by ad blockers (/iOS changes)? - Tracking pixels may be prevented from following users around the web. - Facebook ads not getting the traction you’d like. - You may have your banner ads, PPC ads, and YouTube ads blocked. So yes, there could be impact, but our advice is to do 1 thing first. Get back to strategy! - Consider your target audience first - Create compelling, contextual content - Use native advertising channels - Have a solid unpaid strategy including SEO Ultimately, If you build your lead-gen strategy from a strategic viewpoint yes, you may find it harder, but ultimately, what you do implement will put you in good stead to minimise the impact of blockers. #adblockers #digitalmarketing #tips #leadgenerationtips #threepiecemarketing
